After James and Lily started dating Sirius had Lily and Marlene brush and do his hair perfectly in muggle styles like french braids and then he would change his voice to a girl's. Sirius didn't find it shocking it all when both female and male bodies at Hogwarts flirted with him. Even dumbledore winked.
