Starting 1977 Peter Pettigrew thought he could and would make it a better year for himself and so he wished upon the shooting stars right until 11:59 pm when he walked towards the other entrance watching all the familiar Hogwarts teens counting down to zero until a new year began. And amongst them he saw a group of boys bring out their arms out signaling for him to move towards them grinning widely. The marauders. Everything suddenly felt right again. They were his mates. Brothers.
I felt weird writing this. I believe Peter gets to the whole dark side and control part a little later in their sixth year then ultimately throughout seventh year and after. So... ;○
