I started to count every calorie that went into my mouth and counted every calorie that I burned. I checked my weight on the scale at least three times a day and even took laxatives if I felt like I ate too much lettuce. It was slowly becoming my personal addiction. The losing of the weight, the counting of every calorie, the non stop exercise. I was losing my mind. Food became my enemy and the satisfying knawing at my stomach telling me that it was empty was my friend.
Two months of this and I fainted during a big soccer match with another school. I made our team lose and what was worse, the doctor diagnosed me with an eating disorder. I was kept in hospital for a treacherous month as nurses forced food down my throat three times a day and spied on me when I went to the bathroom. I was let out when I was finally at an average weight again.
My mum made me go to group therapy after that. I couldn't think of a worse idea since I thought it would destroy my reputation. But the doctor told me that I should stay away from soccer for a while and was kicked off the team. People also avoided me because they now knew me as 'the walking skeleton'. So I thought screw it and went to the therapy sessions. I met three intriguing people who grew on me and now we're inseperable. That's how I ended up with a group of amazing friends and one perfect girlfriend.

Katie came over at around lunchtime looking gorgeous as ever. Her hair was in a loose braid and she was wearing a summer dress with sandals. She looked so adorable and I couldn't help but lean in to kiss her.
She giggled, "Stop Tom. You're not supposed to kiss me on the first date."
"Yeah but I've kissed you way before today so I think it's alright." I hummed and shot her a grin which she returned.
I led her inside where I had the home movie theatre all set up. I smiled, pleased with myself when I heard her gasp.
"Oh my god, this is so cool!" She gushed as she flopped herself down on the beanbags and started flipping through my movie collection (which is huge by the way since I've been collecting since I was six). "Tom, you did all this for me?" She asked, stopping her search for a moment to look up at me with those beautiful eyes of hers.
I smiled, "Of course. And this is only the beginning, Katie. Just wait and see." I told her. "You deserve the best, princess."
I couldn't help but look at her with adoration as she blushed profusely and quickly looked away, busying herself with my movie collection once again. I chuckled as I went into the kitchen to start making the popcorn. It was the one Katie and I made when I stayed over at hers a few weeks ago.
I drizzled the melted chocolate over it and threw in two big handfuls of mini marshmallows followed by handfuls of mini M&M's. I finished it off by glazing it with melted caramel which hardened in almost as soon as it hit the popcorn. Now, everything was stuck together and you could just snap pieces of it off. Genius.
When I returned back into the room, I saw that Katie had already picked out several movies and a TV show. She looked up when I came in and gave me a triumphant smirk. I handed the massive bowl to her as I flopped down next to her on the beanbags that I had to beg to borrow from my little sister. She only gave them to me when I mentioned Katie. That girl probably liked my girlfriend more than me.
"Let's see," I said as I looked at her choices. "Mean Girls, Paranormal Activity, The Conjuring and season two of Teen Wolf. Wow." I let out a low whistle. It was a weird list of movies but hey, it sounded entertaining.
I stood up to set up the first movie and settled back down when it started playing. I snuggled down next to her as I put my arm around her waist and rested my head on her shoulder.
