a day out with the enemy!

"well you can sit here , i gotta start singing but do tell me before you leave ok " manik said

"yeah thanks i will " she replied formally 

her eyes roaming around the big dim lighted indoor cafe when she heard his voice

he finished 3 more songs and as always opened his eyes hearing the applaud for him , she was surprised by the charm of his voice , which not to be denied was one of the most mesmerising voices she had heard in her life

"you were really good " she exclaimed as he approached the table and sat down on a chair in front of her

"thanks" he replied with a smile

"so yeh song pechle break up ke baad likha tha ? " she asked with a smirk

"excuse me? " he said raising his eyebrows

"ok fine nahi batana toh mat batao , obviously ab tum ko acha thori lage ga agar tumhari image monster se romeo i ban jai toh , i can completely understand" she said suppressing her laugh

"looks like someone is on a date ! " came a voice from behind

they looked behind and saw someone whom manik knew but nandini didnt

"hello dear lady , i must say manik she is damn beautiful" the guy said with a smirk as he held nandini's hand and kissed it and nandini instantly pulled it back

"thank you for the compliment but first . i dont know you and second . manik and i  are not on a date" nandini said 

"kya yaar manik , you didn't grab this one either , come on bro! seriously ? " the guys mocked but manik was still ignoring him

"what the hell are you doing here harshad ! " manik said with a disgusted expression as he stood up to face him 

"i am on a break , because you know some of us out there have real jobs unlike some people who know nothing more than how to play a stupid guitar and perform like fools in front of random people" harshad replied with a grin 

"at least i know how to do that but what about you , both of us know how YOU work so lets not go there , dont instigate me to open my mouth in front of "random people" ok BRO! " manik replied with a smirk and he pushed his chest a bit 

"chalo nandini ! " manik ordered as he without any warning held nandini's hand and dragged her out of the cafe in anger

"manik who was he" nandini asked as she got her hand out of his grip

"none of your concern !" he replied in anger as he just kept walking aimlessly on the road and she followed him

"what do you mean by none of my concern , i am supposed to know as he now knows me too and why did he say all those sick things to you" nandini said as she held his arm to stop him 

"Did i not make my self clear nandini murthy! " he screamed and all of a sudden it started to rain "its none of your concern so it means its none of your concern don't push me to bring my monster side out again , thora time normally baat kya kar li tumse tum toh sir par hee charh rahi ho " he screamed at her 

he left walking to god knows where as she stood there getting drenched in the rain as couple of tears escaped her eyes and she quickly got an auto and rushed back home , after almost 4 hours the door of the apartment opened it had stopped raining by now as manik entered his house the first thing  he saw was nandini sitting in the balcony with her legs folded against her chest and her chin resting on her knees he went and sat next to her , she looked a him and then looked away

"harshad is my brother.." manik said and nandini looked at him in disbelief

"he is the biggest reason why i left home , left my mom , my life ...he made my life miserable in my own house" he said

"i..i didnt know or else main kabhi nahi poochti.......sorry " nandini said out of guilt

"i am sorry too mujhe tumhe aise akele chor kar nahi aana chahiye tha woh bhi itni baarish main , socha bhi nahi ke tum ghar kaise puhancho gi....and ....sorry ..i...i shouted on you" he said while stammering

"its ok "she said and hesitantly pat his shoulder as a sign on consolation but she was failing miserably "so goodnight" she said to avoid further awkwardness 

"yeah good night " manik replied 

so i thought before i disappear i should give you guys a part to thank you for all your suport and thank you so much for understanding , i'll try to update whenever i can so till then
