Chapter 10 - pranks at the beach

Time to go to the beach!!!!!!!

I'm so excited. I loved the beach and now instead of just going with Jenna or the guys, I get to go with a gang of people.

Right now we were all in Jason's van. By all of us I mean me, Jenna, Jayden, Lily, Chase, Jason, Jake and Tori.

"We're here!" Jason yelled.

We all cheered and wooped while getting out of the van. We got all our equipment and headed to the beach time to have fun. I haven't been to the beach since..........

Since my mom died. Which was 4 months ago.

"Come on let's go" Jayden yelled at me as he waited for me to join him in the water.

"Ill go in later" I lied. The truth was I was wearing a pink bikini and I feel self cautious since there are other guys here.

"Fine, you coming guys" he said gesturing to everyone else.

"I'll come" Tori squealed. Looks like she loves to swim.

"Oh okay" Jayden said with a slight blush and smile. Aw I think he has a crush.

Jayden and Tori walked off. Then while I was sunbathing I heard people get up. I lifted my head and realised that lily, Jake, Jason and Jenna had gone to get some milkshakes from the little shop that was 5 minutes away.

I put my head back down since there was only me left. I didn't know where Chase had gone. I decided to catch a tan.

Suddenly someone had flipped my chair and was carrying me across their back.

I would have just been scared, but then I realised I was only in my bikini. I yelled and hit the persons back. Then it hit me, it was Chase. I could tell by the blue shorts he was wearing.

"Put me down Chase!!!!" I screamed at him trying to get down.

"Okay. If that's what you want" he said laughing. Oh no.

He took me off his back then threw me into the water. That douche. I got up and walked over to the boy clutching his stomach in laughter.

"You sugarweasle!" I yelled at him.

He stopped laughing and gave me a confused look.

"Sugarweasle?" He asked soon turning his face into a smirk.

"Yeah" I said while my face turned pink with embarrassment at my comeback.

He came closer to me then put his arm around my waist.

"Your so cute" he smirked then messed up my hair.

"Agh!" I yelled walking out of the water, but before I could he grabbed my arm. Damn those fireworks.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"Back to my chair" I said in a 'duh' tone.

"Stay" he said smiling brightly.

"Fine" I said giving in.

We stayed in the water messing around and probably looking like complete idiots. I am still getting him back for that prank though.

We soon came out of the water and went back to our chairs. We dried ourselves off then laid on the blanket that was set out.

We were just laying there with my head on his chest and his arm around me. I couldn't help but feel the fireworks and blush at how comfortable and right this felt to me.

What is he doing to me.

Chase's POV

I couldn't help but smile down at her when we were on that blanket. We were just so comfortable and taking like we had known each other for years when we haven't. I felt those fireworks again.

What is she doing to me.

Right now we were all in a cafe. After we had spent about 3 hours at the beach messing around and talking we got hungry.

"Dude" Jason said waving his hand in front of my face.

"Hmm?" I answered him.

"I wonder who your thinking about" he said sarcastically with a grin on his face.

"I was just thinking about my burger. I'm so hungry" I lied.

"If you say so" he winked.

"Here's your food" the waitress said giving the girls their food. She then gave the guys their food and turned to me. She now has a flirtatious grin on her face. Oh great, note the sarcasm there.

"Here's your food" she said putting the plate down in front of me and getting too close.

"Would you like anything else?" She asked and I knew what she was implying.

"Nope" I dead panned and turned to eat my food when she whispered into my ear.

"Well just give me a call if you change your mind" she flirted passing me a note.

The boys smirked and the girls ignored us. I turned to Sarah and I saw her scoff and laugh at the attempt the girl had made. She then ate her food. She looked cute when she ate. Shit, I'm thinking about her again.

"Whatever" I said throwing the paper.

The waitress looked at me in shock. She then give me a scowl flipped her hair and strutted off. What a slut.

"I wonder how many times she's done that" Sarah mumbled to herself with a giggle.

"I'm guessing more then 10" I said smirking at her.

She blushed a bit then looked down and ate her food.

"You look cute when you blush" I joked sending her a wink. I wasn't actually joking though.

She giggled along then finished the rest off her food.

Soon we were all done and heading back home.

I decided to drive the van home since Jason drives us up here.

While I was driving a looked in the front mirror. I could see Sarah and Jason laughing. Then Jason put his arm around her shoulder and whispered in her ear. She giggled then removed Jason's arm.

I don't know why, but when I saw that my grip on the wheel tightened. I couldn't be jealous. I didn't even like her. Or did I ?

No, now way. I can't like Sarah. It's probably something else. I know I'm not jealous.

Sarah's POV

The drive back from the beach was fun I talked to Jason the whole time. We were just joking around and listening to music.

I'm so glad I've met these people. Life just seems so much more fun when I'm with these guys. Maybe Lily dating Jake wasn't as bad as I thought it was.

If she didn't date Jake then Chase wouldn't have played a prank on me and then there would be no prank war.

I guess things really do happen for a reason.
