After a quick shower, I decided to wear jeans to school for once. My black ripped ones with an Anthem made shirt. I wrapped a red flannel around my waist and slipped on my Vans. I never got to wear what I wanted because jeans were definitely not part of Georgia's vocabulary. And she's faint if she caught sight of my band shirts.

Tom and Lola were meeting me at my bus stop this morning so I wouldn't be alone. It was only a few minutes walk from their houses but it was still a sweet gesture.

"Morning sweetheart." Tom greeted me with his usual nickname he uses for the girls in our group. And I realised that I had stopped calling Georgia's group my group. I smiled at that thought.

"Katie, how are you feeling?" Lola asked as they approached me.

I gave her a slight smile, "I'm doing okay. Although the the butterflies in my stomach are eating me alive."

"Hey, we'll be okay. Don't worry." Tom reassured me giving me a slight squeeze on my shoulder.

I took a deep breath, "I'm fine, I'm fine." I assured them. The bus came shortly after. We went to the very back of the bus so we could all sit together. I was now sandwiched between Tom and Lola which was oddly comforting.

Once the bus dropped us off in front of the school, I felt like throwing up. This the day when I finally get rid of the people in my life who put me down. As we walked through the gates, Georgia's group were sitting where they always sat in the mornings, at the benches overlooking the soccer field.

Georgia stormed over and gave Tom and Lola a rude look, "I thought I told you to leave her alone, freaks." She snapped. "We don't like you."

Tom smirked at her, "Actually, I think it's us that don't like you."

Georgia gave the fakest laugh I have ever heard of, "Oh yeah, as if Katie would choose you two over me, her best friend."

By this time I was shaking because she scared me that much but I tried to push through the fear, "Georgia I..." I said but trailed off once I saw the look she was giving me. Oh, if looks could kill. That's when I saw Hunter walk over to us with Lauren in tow. He looked at us and at Georgia. He seemed to put two and two together because he slipped his hand in mine and squeezed tightly which made me want to puke even more. But in a good way if that made any sense.

I looked Georgia in the eye, "Georgia, I don't think we should be friends anymore." I told her. Her mouth dropped open. "I'm leaving your group."

"You're leaving me for them?!" She exclaimed.

I nodded, "I'm sorry." I said and walked away from her, Hunter's hand still in mine.

"You did it." Hunter said quietly so only I could hear. He stroked my hand with his thumb soothingly. I didn't realised that I was still shaking.

Thank the heavens above that I had Hunter in all my classes except English, where I had Tom, so I wouldn't have to face class with Georgia or anyone else alone. They kept shooting me nasty glares and Taylor even flipped me off when the teacher wasn't looking. Hunter was ready to get up and bash her head in but I placed my hand over his clenched fists that were pressed into the table. I smiled at him to let him know that I was okay.
