A Day in the Life of Veronica Cooper.

~Jealousy only eats up your beauty. Have more faith in yourself. You have something other people don't~

Two weeks later..

~Veronica's 1st P.O.V~

It was near dawn when my alarm clock went off. Usually I would have been more alert...more awake but, today I'm really not.

I awoken stretching out my arms expecting to feel a presence behind me but, ending up feeling another empty side. It has happened so much it doesn't even phase me anymore. The Ricky Smiley morning show started playing out of my radio as my morning jam's starting playing.

Ah Good Morning Washington.

The skies were still kind of dark at around seven but bright enough to function properly. I got and head straight inside my bathroom were I did my oral hygiene and other stuff getting ready for my routinely morning jog. Before heading out my house I checked on Destiny to see her sleeping peacefully in her bed.

I exited out my building on the affluent streets of D.C. There was the morning men on their way to work while some were just coming back home from club or some shit.

"Oh my fucking God...BRITNEY!" A white chick yelled at her friend as they came out the taxi cab. "I can't feel my legs!" The other said. I giggled as I jogged right passed them.

Some of the vender has set up their shops as lines began to form but, not much people. I loved this life but, how I was living it had a lot of room for improvement. At a local starbucks across the street the morning buzz had started as I glanced inside. I saw his profile.

My husband's...

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and jogged across the street escaping traffic as I j-walked to the other side. I opened up the door to the starbucks and walked inside towards him. He was still wearing his clothes from yesterday. He hasn't been home all day.

"What are you doing here Bryan" I asked him as he turned to me drinking his expresso. Bryan chuckled a bit. "Getting some coffee" He said with a smile as if he were sarcastic with it.

I felt the draft in the room being focused on me causing goosebumps to coat my body since I was only wearing a sports bra and jogging pants. "Did you come home last night?"

"Why should I? Like you would care anyways" Bryan scoffed. "Well actually I do"...

"Hmm. Okay"

It took me a second to get to his reply. "Woah timeout. What do you mean?" I asked raising a brow.
He did the same also. "Do you really want all of starbucks to know what I mean?" Bryan questioned. I gave him a look to go on as I crossed my arms. Watch this be about total shit.

"I don't love you. I never did. Plain and simple. I tried to love you because of Destiny but, I couldn't . You're a manipulative selfish scheming simple little bitch" Bryan said before sipping the rest of his expresso. Now we had all of starbucks' attention including its workers.

His words hit me like bullets as I stood there shocked and speechless. Inaudible words escaped my lips. Probably saying why? but he kept on going.

"What? Cat's got your tongue for the first time. Man I couldn't wait to tell your ass and today is my day. I loved how you think you could have trapped me by having Destiny but, its the twenty-first century get with the program. There's plenty of single mom's around the world. You are so evil to your own sister. She's everything your not and guess what. I love her...not Veronica but, Victoria. I'm am done with your ass and don't think that we will be sleeping together. I'm just here for Destiny then after that its over" He exclaimed.
