*Victoria's POV*

After Josh helped me clean the cuts and put a bandage on them, he kissed my arm. I smiled at him and he smiled back.

"I'm sorry," I said.

"Don't be," he said. I looked at him confused.

He must've noticed because he reached for his sleeve and pulled it up, revealing many scars.

My eyes widened. "Josh.."

"I have them too," he said, pulling his sleeve back down. "They're battle scars."

I nodded. "I guess so,"

"Come on," he said, nodding toward the door. "I have something to show you."

I hopped off the counter that I was sitting on, and started walking toward the door. Josh and I sat on the couch and he grabbed his phone and earbuds. He handed his phone to me and I took it in my hand confusingly.

"Look," he smiled. I looked at the screen.

Marianas Trench - Astoria

"Josh.." I said, looking up at him. "Did you name the album after me?" I smiled.

He nodded. "Yeah,"

(A/N: if you're confused he named it Astoria because it rhymes with Victoria ok carry on)

"Oh Josh, you didn't have to do that..." I smiled and looked back at the screen.

I started scrolling through the songs.

"They're all about you," Josh said, gaining my attention again.

"What?" I asked surprised.

He nodded. I looked back at the phone in shock. "They're all about... Me?"

"Here," he handed me his earbuds. "I'm gonna go help the guys, you listen to them."

I took the earbuds and smiles at him as he walked out of the bus. I shoved the earbuds in my ears and plugged them into the phone. I clicked on the first song, Astoria.

The song started off with just music, but then came the best thing. Josh, the first word. Astoria.

His voice was pure and I could tell he meant the lyrics. Every word. There was so much emotion in his voice.

I went through the songs, until I came across one. It was called; Never Say Die. I smiled and started listening. There were no words, and it was only 30 seconds long, but I recognized the music from anywhere. It was my music.

One night when Josh was working on songs, I sat at the table with him and tarted jotting down my own. It wasn't anything serious, I just wanted to do it for fun. But now, it was real. He actually got people to play my music, and put it on the album.

I smiled at the music that I had written, and moved onto the next song.

It was called Forget Me Not. I pressed it and as soon as I heard the first words, I knew that thing song wasn't like the others. The others could've passed as long songs easily. But this one, I knew that he wrote this one for me. And only me.

"Sat down at the piano
And played some of your songs
You don't know how the words go
But you sort of sang along
And I'm here to remind you
What's lost is never gone
You will
Forget, forget, forget
Forget me not
You will
Forget, forget, forget
Forget me not

I'm not ready for what's to come
Does that make me
My mother's selfish son
But I wanted you to know
I still need you my friend
From the line to amend
To the cradle again
I'll be your
I'll be your
I'll be your
Forget, forget me not
I'll be your
I'll be your
Forget me not

If memories are shadows
We'd best not waste the light
Echoes of aphasia
Have haunted you tonight
But I will watch you sleeping
And make sure you're alright
And you will
Forget, forget, forget
Forget me not
You will
Forget, forget, forget me
Forget me not

I'm not ready for what's to come
Does that make me
My mother's selfish son
But I wanted you to know
I will help you my friend
From the line to amend
To the cradle again
I'll be your
I'll be your
I'll be your
Forget, forget me not
I'll be your
I'll be your
Forget me not

I know you're not quite here
But you're not quite gone
Sometimes the night gets dark before the dawn
Maybe life's too short
But the end is long
Yeah, life's too short
But the end is long
Life's too short
But the end is long
Yeah, life's too short
But the end is so long

I won't leave you my friend
I will ease you back in
To the cradle again
I'll be your
I'll be your
I'll be your
Forget, forget, forget me not

I'll be your
I'll be your
Life's too short
But the end is long
Life's too short
But the end is so long"

I soon fell asleep to the song, Josh's voice singing through the earbuds.

(A/N: if you didn't catch on, the part where Josh sings "Echoes of aphasia
Have haunted you tonight" means when Victoria self-harmed and was sad and stuff and
"But I will watch you sleeping
And make sure you're alright" is talking about the night Josh wrote the song and Victoria was sleeping on the couch next to him, that's when he came up with the song. Hope this helps with feels. You're welcome :)
