Chapter 40: Secrets of The Hotel

The hotel room was very clean. There was a switch at the side that said, "DO NOT TOUCH". There were many beds and each of them had some intricate embroidery on the quilt and the pillow.

The bathroom had a huge bathtub and there was two holes beside the bathtub. One of them pours rose petals and perfume while the other pours minerals to make the skin soft. There was a special toilet which did not have a toilet bowl. Instead, it was powered by a special mechanism to remove excessive waste.

There was also a balcony which overlooks the city. After getting consent from her father, Claire flew out of the balcony to get a feel of the height.

Out of the blue, the hotel room began to flood with water! The balcony doors automatically closed and locked. The door gaps were shut to prevent water to go out.

"Who did that?" The King asked, feeling terrified.

Everyone pointed to one of the servants.

"I pressed the 'DO NOT TOUCH' switch out of curiosity!" The servant confessed.

"Everyone please cool down! I have superpowers that can stop this!" The Queen yelled at everyone.

"Save your powers, Your Majesty. We'll resolve this on our own," a servant said.

The Queen could not argue.

As the water level risen, Herra noticed something. When he dipped his legs into the water, the part which is submerged turned into a fish tail! Then, he found a brilliant idea to stop the flooding.

"Just push the switch another time!"

He pushed the switch but the water only risen quicker.

"Oh no, what shall we do? The Princess will have to stay outside for the night and we will DROWN!!!" A servant broke out into hysterics. That panicked everyone in the room.

Then, Claire flew back to the balcony. She looked into the balcony window and saw her own family locked in the room! Using her wits, she shouted through the glass,"Dad! Say /give KingHerobrine Diamond_Pickaxe 1! That will give you a pickaxe that can break this glass!"

"Why hadn't I think of that?" the King asked himself before executing the command his daughter gave to him.

When the liquid poured onto Claire's feet, she felt something itchy on her feet. She jumped up to the balcony and saw that her feet were now a diamond blue! Also, they seemed to be closer to each other.

Brian then investigated Claire's feet. "Your feet are now made of diamond. From Herra's observation just now, we could have become diamond fish statues if the water, or should I say unknown liquid, submerges us!" He told everyone.

"Can you cure my feet?" Claire pleaded.

"Maybe," said Brian as he massaged his sister's diamond feet.

"Did you feel my hands?" he asked once in a while, and Claire would always give a positive reply.

Soon, Claire was able to move her toes before her feet magically changed back to normal.

"Now it's time for dinner. Where shall we eat?" Herra asked.

"Only one choice," his father said.

They went to the grand hall to have their dinner with the Prime Minister. As they ate, they were being filmed as they were also talking about important matters.

"Looking at the map of this area, I suggest we build a combined airport for us here." Mr Hedgehog pointed to a spot on the map that was far from both cities, but it had the same distance from both cities.

"I think we should include Village-City too," King Hero suggested. "It is also the same distance to the spot!"

"Great idea! Then we can put this onto Bomby's World Book of Recordzzz as the first joint airport!" exclaimed Mr Hedgehog.

After that, food is served. "Finest and freshest ingredients are used in today's menu!" said the head chef as he went out of the kitchen to greet the king and the prime minister.

The food was served fast, and using a machine the King had never seen before. On the table, there was something orange.

"This is chemical 121921AS. Eat it! It's yummy!" Mr Hedgehog said as he stuffed a spoonful of the chemical into his mouth. Immediately, he became quite orange.

"That reminds me of the food they had in the Ender Palace. It turns everyone purple, except me," the Queen said. She put a spoonful of chemical 121921AS into her mouth. Immediately, she turned orange. "I guess it works on everyone!"

After eating dinner, the queen and her children went back to the hotel room while the king stayed to discuss important matters. However, this time, they talked about private matters, so they were not filmed.

"So... just now you said that you want a combined airport? That will take up a lot of money!" exclaimed Mr Hedgehog.

"We have land to use, so why not use the land to do something good?" said King Hero. "Furthermore, you could also just build a long highway to the airport! That will save money for further development in the future!"

"Awesome!" I'll start on that now!"

In the hotel room, Claire was playing hide-and-seek with her servants. Claire was usually the hider.To her dismay, the game usually ended with a "Can you come out now? I'm tired" or, when her servant was the hider, he or she would hide at a easy location, like the toilet bathtub or under the covers.

"Princess, it's time to sleep!" a servant nagged at Claire when she had not fallen asleep at 9 pm.

"I can't sleep when you do this!" Claire cried.

"Okay, then I'll keep quiet."

In the night, a spider came down from the roof. This spider was not the giant spiders that I had introduced, but it was a small spider, about 10 cm long. The spider crawled onto the balcony and made lengths of spider silk. Then, when the sun rose, the spider crawled back to its hiding place.

Everyone in the hotel let out a big yawn. They looked around to check that their belongings were still there. The king of Carren City found the lengths of silk.

His advisor told him, "You should bring this silk back home. It's very strong. You could sell it for so much money!"

"No. This must be left by someone else, or it might have been travelling through a portal to reach here. Let's not touch it!"

Getting ready for the day, the family put on their formal clothing and went to the camper. They did not realize that the spider had followed them too onto the camper; and it was now in the back of it.
