You Have A Nightmare About Him

A/N: The italics are the dream and once they end the dream is over.

Stefan

You and Stefan have been dating for about 3 years. Stefan was pretty open with you about being a vampire and a ripper which you always liked considering he could have just hid it from you. At first when you heard that Stefan was a ripper you were absolutely confused. You had no idea what a ripper was or anything about it. Finally you got Damon to tell you what a ripper was and you were pretty scared, but who wouldn't be. Stefan promised to never hurt you and to only protect you, he also explained that he wont go all ripper unless he has human blood but he wont drink it.

You believed him and trusted him but there were still times when you would be nervous about being with him. At least 2 times a month you would have a horrible nightmare. One that seemed so realistic. You would always wake up breathing heavily, about to break into tears and just a complete mess. Stefan knew about the nightmares and usually he would just talk to you and calm you down until you went back to sleep. He never really knew what the nightmares were about but that wasn't a bad thing because you didn't want him to feel as if you didn't trust him. The nightmares were sometimes about him in a ripper phase, other times it was about a movie you two watched of something. Tonight it was about him and it was worse than usual.

You were at the Salvatore Boarding House with Stefan, it was silent other than the sound of you running. He was after you, he was getting closer and closer. You couldn't do anything about it. You tried to leave the house but next thing you know you are back in the house and Stefan is calling for you. "Y/N, come on sweetheart. Let's not play hide and seek. I just want to have a snack". You ran up to Damon's room , hoping that he was there to save you but he wasn't. He was gone. You turned to run the other direction but it was to late. Stefan was there, waiting for you. "Well hello Y/N. How about that snack?" Stefan said running up and pinning you against the wall by your throat. You couldn't breathe. Stefan bit into your neck and you could feel darkness taking over. You tried to break his grip but it was to late.

You woke up in a panic. Stefan was shaking you lightly trying to wake you up. "Y/N? Are you okay?" Stefan asked you. Worry written all over your face. You felt like you couldn't move. "Nightmare?" Stefan asked you another question. You finally felt like you could move so you just nodded. "What was it about?" Stefan asked. You couldn't tell him that it was about him. "Nothing really. Just a movie." You said quietly. Your lying to me. Please tell me the truth." Stefan said. "It... It was about vampires" You said. That wasn't a lie though. It was about vampires, just not the specific one. "What vampire?" Stefan asked. You didn't answer. "Me?" Stefan said more than asked. You just nodded softly and Stefan took you into a hug.

"I would never hurt you. I love you way to much to ever hurt you. I would rather die myself than loose you." Stefan said kissing your forehead softly. "I love you too Stefan." Was all that you could say before falling asleep in Stefan's arms.

Damon

You and Damon have been dating for 1 year. You loved each other, Damon loved you so much that he would protect you from anything. Even if it was Klaus, Kol, or the spider in the bathroom Damon was there to protect you and save you. You never thought that the day would come that you were scared of Damon though. You started to become scared of Damon when he turned his emotions off. You knew that he wasn't thinking straight and that he could and possibly would hurt or kill you. Stefan told you that you were safe and Damon would never hurt you. It had been 1 month since Damon turned his emotions off.

You were out looking for Damon in hope of getting him back. Searching for Damon at one of the bars right outside of town you finally found him. Joy and fear shot through you body at once as you saw Damon. Of course you love him so all you wanted to do was go and hug him and never let go but you knew Damon wasn't Damon I guess. He would hurt you. He wouldn't think twice about it, maybe he would only think twice of how he would do it but other than that he wouldn't.
