Chapter 13

When I woke up, I was the only one in the living room. I walked around the house and I couldn't find anyone.
    When I went up to Nash's room everyone was in there playing video games but Hayes wasn't in there with them.
    " yo Nash, where's Hayes?"
I said
    "Uhhhh I think he's in his room."
  He said without taking his eyes off the screen.
    " oh and Sydney?"
  He said looking at me
     "What?"
I asked
   " he has a girl with him, but it's not what you think. I promise."
    He whispered.
"Game over...game over...game over."
  The TV said
     I went into Hayes' room.
  He did have a girl with him.
  I just smiled at her. But then she did something.
     She gave me a dirty look and grabbed Hayes and kissed him.
   Hayes pushed her off of him.
    " you need to leave!"
He yelled to her.
   She left and I sat down.
      "Who was that?"
I said. But I was staying calm since Nash told me it wasn't what I think.
    " her name is Laura she's my parter for our science project but now I will have to find a new partner."
   He said
      He hugged me and then we went into Nash's room.
   I saw Shawn looking at me and Cameron was looking at Shawn and knew he liked me.
    " Shawn could I speak to you please?"
    Cameron said
"Sure"
Shawn said.
   They went outside to the hall and I listened through the door.
    " Shawn, I can tell that you like her. But she has a boyfriend."
   Cam said
  "I know she's just so pretty and sweet and I feel really bad for her about what happened to her aunt."
   Shawn said
   "I think she's pretty and sweet too but I'm too old for her and she had a boyfriend."
   Cam said
" I just want her in my life."
   Shawn said
     " I do to but we can't have her because she has Hayes so if you lover her let her be happy with Hayes."
    Cam said
  I do love Hayes.
     All of the sudden Laura walked in.
  "Hey Laura."
Hayes said scratching his neck.
    "Hayes why is she here?"
I whispered
    "Because she's going to apologize to you."
   He said
  She walked up to me and stared at me for a second...
    " I'm sorry."
  She said loudly
    " that your an ugly little girl that Hayes doesn't actually love."
   She whispered quietly enough that Hayes wouldn't hear her.
    " oh my gosh."
I said
    " oh my gosh what? I'm better than you and Hayes loves me. He asked me out right before you came in and that's why I kissed him."
She whispered.
   I started tearing up and she left. I ran out of Nash's room and locked myself in the bathroom downstairs.
   I heard everyone come downstairs.
     Knock knock knock
  I heard
    " who is it?!?"
  I yelled
     " it Hayes."
  Hayes said through the door
  " I'm not letting you in! I can't believe you!"
   I yelled. I now had tears rolling down my face.
   I opened the door a crack
  " Shawn come here."
I said
   He walked in the bathroom and I closed and locked the door.
   " hey."
I whispered
   " hey. Why did you want me?"
  He asked.
     I opened the door again.
  "Hayes."
  I said
   "What?"
  He said
   " we are done!"
I yelled and closed and locked the door again.
   I heard Nash and Cameron yelling at Hayes but I couldn't hear what they were saying.
    I looked at Shawn
  He was starting at me
      " your even pretty when your crying."
   He said smiling
       " listen Shawn, I know you like me."
   I said
  Shawn started blushing.
      I pulled him in really close to me.
  " would you give me a chance?"
  He whispered
     I kissed him gently on the lips and I felt him smile
    " so is that a yes?"
  He said
    "Yes"
I whispered in between kisses.
   Shawn kept kissing me for a couple of minutes and then we stopped. I opened the bathroom door and told Nash.
Nash patted me on the back and smiled. Everyone was kind of shocked but congratulated me.
   I saw Hayes texting and then Laura walked in and kissed him and they went up to his room. Shawn pulled me into a hug and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
