"I said 'no' Lay, I'm never going in that place." You repeatedly rejected Lay, shrugging his hand off you.

"Please? Just this once jebal," he begged, still not giving up. He looked at you and flashed his innocent little sparkling puppy eyes, sliding his lower lip out into a small cute pout. You looked at the building in front of you, hesitating if you should enter or not. DAMN! He knew you could never resist his pouty face as it was your biggest weakness and now he used it against you.

You sighed for the ninth time, trying to think of a way to stop him from pulling you into that nightmare. "I will only go if..." you made a thinking expression while his face lit up. "What is it?!" he asked excitedly, shooting stars out of his eyes. "If you...dance right here, right now, in the middle of this amusement park." You smiled widely, foolishly thinking he will never do that just for you to enter the haunted house. You knew more than anything that he was a little shy kid and wouldn't dared to dance here in the public randomly. "...Okay!" he replied after after a few seconds of hesitation, passing his backpack to you as he got ready for the 'little performance'.

Your eyes got so wide that you could look like Kyungsoo, one of your friend with the biggest eyes you've seen. You were totally not expecting this. Is he that desperate to get me in that haunted house....?

His body swayed around so flexibly, like he's just a plate of jelly. He's so engrossed in the dance that he didn't realise passersby had began to crowd around him. Noticing the 'mess' he has made, he stopped his dance instantly, face turning a dark shade of red. He covered his face like a little boy as he ran back to you.

"Can we go now?" he said, pecking at you through his hands. You were trying so hard not to laugh that your face had turned into a funny looking bloat due to you holding your breathe. Trust me, you look like a burned potato right now. You nodded and he grabbed your wrist, dashing towards the entrance of the haunted house. A sickening wave of terror welled up from your belly as soon as you entered and you swallowed a lump in your throat. Even though the haunted house was cold, you still manage to perspire. I could've swore that the perspire was colder than ice. You grabbed Lay's arm tightly as you guys walk around, finding the exit. You studied the place, you've never seen haunted house this huge before, probably because you've never entered one, but it's still huge compare to the other kind of haunted house you see in those variety shows. Even Lay was amused with the size of the building. Did I mentioned that you've always been afraid of the dark since you're young because you think spirits are hidden in dark areas? And you always sleep with a night light? Well now you know.

"Don't let go of my arm even if you're scared okay? I don't want us seperated..." Lay said as he glanced at you. You gave him a quick nod pursed your lips. As footsteps were heard behind you, you turned around, only to find someone in black behind, following the two of you. You let out a strangled cry and dashed forward, leaving Lay calling out to you at the back.
"YAH! I JUST SAID DON'T LET GO OF MY ARM!"

The building was sure big as hell. You've been running for 2 minutes but still not yet close to the exit. It's hard to believe but you seem to be lost in a haunted house. Yes I know, who the hell would be lost in a freakin' haunted house right? You were so terrified that you didn't even realise you ditched Lay behind.

Hugging yourself, you continue walking, looking for the exit. For a good 5 minutes, you found nothing. You were so sure that you had been going in circles around the building as you swear you had walked past several areas before. This is how big the building was. Sensing someone getting nearer again, you tried finding a place to hide. But your action was caught. Fear gripped you like a vicer even though you know that those stuffs weren't real.

You brought your knees closer to your chest, trying to look as small as possible. Your face turned pallid and became a colourless mask when a hand grabbed your shoulder, making you screamed at the top of your lungs and swung your hands around. You shut your eyes tight, not daring to open them and continued screaming. "Hey hey it's me (Y/N), it's just me, relax." an all too familiar voice said as he held you against his chest. But you can't hear what he said, it's like all the nervousness and horrfied sensation blocked out your hearing. You could not stop, you don't get how you have the energy but you just kept muffling screams in his chest.

Lay is still trying to calm you as he tightened his grip around you. When he realised that it didn't work, he pulled away from you, and that's when you felt something soft and warm on your lips.

He had forced a kiss on you, and deepened it even more after a few seconds. You blinked once, twice, thrice, unable to make out what just happened. You silenced yourself immediately.

He pulled away and studied your face, fear was all that could be seen in your eyes. Strained frowns trampled across his forehead as he engulfed you into a tight hug once again. He hate to see you like this, when he knew the fault was his. " Mianhae, I shouldn't have forced you in here," he apologized, regret was etched deeply into his face with sunken cheeks and sallow complexion as he gazed at you with apologetic eyes. He rubbed your back soothingly. "Shall we go now m'lady?" he asked while giving a little bow, immediately making you feel better. You gave him a small smile after he pulled you to your feet and held you against him finding the exit in the next few minutes. || END ||
