It All Started in Doncaster

Unexpected Happy News

*Katie's POV*

My phone starts ringing, it's my mum.

"Hey, mum." I say answering.

"Katie, you'll never believe this!" she says.

"What is it?!"

"Tyler woke up!"

"He did?!"

"He did!"

"Oh my gosh! That is amazing! Does he have any memory loss?"

"He doesn't remember anything from the day of the crash, but other than that he doesn't. He knows who Jayden is and he knows where you are and whatnot." 

"That is fantastic! I wish I could be there, but I'd miss England far too much." 

"I think Tyler would want you to stay there too."

"You're probably right."

"Mom?" I hear a weak voice say.

"Sweetie, I have to go!" she says.

"Bye, mum. I love you." I say.

"Bye, sweetie. I love you too."

I hang up and feel a lot happier than I have in a while.

"You look happy." Phoebe says.

"I feel happy." I sigh.

"Why?"

"You know that my brother Tyler was in a coma for a while right?"

"Yeah."

"Anyhow, my mum just called to tell me that he woke up!"

"That's awesome!"

"I know it is! I'm so happy he lived, the two of us have always been pretty close."

"Well, I'm going to let you be happy by yourself."

"Okay."

I grab my iPhone and earbuds. Music time!

I put my earbuds in and hit shuffle. Maroon 5's Payphone comes on.

I love this song! Definitely one of my favorites.

"Katie. Katie. Katie!" I hear someone say.

"What?" I mumble opening my eyes and see Daisy.

"Dinner's ready."

"Oh, okay. Was I asleep."

"You were."

"Explains a lot."

The two of us head downstair to the dining room. Everyone's going to know that Tyle woke up from his coma pretty soon.

"Why do you look so happy?" Lottie asks me.

"My brother woke up from his coma!" I say grinning.

"That's great!" her and Fizzy say.

"See, I knew it'd all be okay." mum says.

"Yeah, you were right."

*Lottie's POV*

I can't remember the last time Katie was this happy. Probably before her brother wasin the accident and whatnot. So it's been over a month.

"Have you talked to him yet?" I ask her.

"Not yet. But when I was talking to my mum, her called for her and his voice sounded pretty weak." she says.

"His voice will get stronger as time goes on." mum tells her.

"I know it will."

Yay! Tyler woke up. I bet you figured that he would. I'm not cruel like that.

Besides, I've lost way too many people in reality.

But enough sad stuff. 

Happy Mothers Day to my mommy! I love you!

She knows that though.

I hope all of you love your mom... and your dad. Some exceptions can be made (ie, walked out on you when you were little or something)

Anyhow, the contest I mentioned in my last chapter is still in effect until midnight May 13. Then, it's game over.

KIDDING! It won't be game over. But the contest will be closed then.

I went and saw Iron Man 3 today. It's a really good movie, I recommend it. Of course I like action movies. Which is weird for me. If you've seen it, tell me what you thought of it! Or if you haven't seen it tell me you want to see it!
