I can't believe it. Never thought I'd see him again. He looks much older now. Light blue eyes, lighter hair, bigger build. Mostly the same features.
"Hello? Earth to Justin." He said waving his hand in front of my face. "Uh oh. Um Hey." I said casually. "How are you?" He asked, a small smile displaying on his lips. "M'fine." I replied.
"Daddy." A voice said and a tug at my sleeve. I looked down to Jade, she had a confused look. "Is that her?" He asked, making me look up at him again. He was looking at her with admiration. I nod. "She's beautiful." He said. "What's wrong babygirl?" I asked looking down again.
"Who is he?" She asked quietly, swinging her feet in the trolley. "Um, he's uh um an old friend?" I quickly said. "Oh, um hi mister." She said smiling a little. "Hi lovely." He waved smiling. "Um so yeah. What are you doing here?" I asked curiously.
"Oh I just need to get some pasta for tonight." He replied. "What about you Mr. Famous." He asked. I chuckled. "Grocery shopping for home. My mum didn't do it cause the food would of been off by the time we came." I explained. He nodded. "Wait. Home? You live here? Mama Pattie is here?" He asked a few questions.
I nod again. "Yeah, officially since last night." I said. He smiled. "Well welcome!" He greeted. "Thanks, thought it was less drama with paps and stuff over here than LA, no mum is not here." I answered. He nodded.
He looked at his phone. "Uh sorry JB, I've gotta go. We should catch up sometime." He said. "Of course. Sure." I said. We exchanged numbers. He hugged me, catching me by surprise. "I've missed you, Drew." He said. "I've missed you too Alexander." I smiled. He bidded farewell and left the aisle.
