Skyskating

Adrien

   Parker hung up with a huge grin on his face. "Good news, she'll do it!"He called out to Noba, Lucas, and Adrien. He heard three cheers and walked back into the room. "Why did she agree?"Noba asked. "She said that Ellis pressured her into it."Parker replied. "Oh, I guess she doesn't like me."Adrien replied. "Don't worry Ade, she doesn't really like anyone anymore." Lucas reassured him. "Yeah, but she likes you guys."Ade replied. "Well yeah, we stuck by her even after her fall from fame. We always will be and that will never change."Lucas cut in. "Oh well, at least I'm being trained by the best."Adrien smiled trying to keep and up beat attitude.  

    "Anyways we better be getting home."Lucas yawned. "Yeah."Noba agreed as she unfurled her wings and jumped into the air. Adrien clicked his skates on and then descended the huge tower. Touching down on the ground he sighed as he watched the night sky while walking toward his apartment. However before he could get there he came across a bunch of guys standing under a Bohemian Fire Lamp right infront of his apartment building's door. Adrien felt a cold chill run down his spine, he didn't like this at all. Pushing his bad feeling aside he walked toward the door. "Oh lookie here boys. This the guy, Delfigalo?"One asked. The stench of liquor and marajuana was strong on his breath. "Yeah Jess, that's him. Never thought Erika would be afraid of a punk like this."Another replied. "Well then, let's kill him already. I wanna go home and get some more beer."Jess sighed.Adrien sunk further into his hoodie, all hope that he would get out of this unscathed was gone. He knew he would have to fight his way out of this.    

   Keeping a low center of gravity he watched as Jess came at him. Grabbing the guy's fist aimed for his nose, Adrien twisted on one foot and slung Jess into the wall. Turning around he caught Delfigalo's arm that was flung at him and quickly snapped it at the joint with his knee. Delfigalo howled in pain as he clutched his arm in agony and fell to his knees. Adrien swiftly delivered a knee to Delfig's nose and the guy was out like a light. "Delfig! Kill the rat! He roughed up Delfigalo!" Jess yelled as he painfully got back onto his feet. Adrien faced the other three with a blank face, "Do you want to die?"He asked in a low tone. The other three were shaking violently and instead of answering they turned to run. "Any whelp that runs will be dealt with by me personally!"Jess snarled. Reluctantly the three turned back around and ran at him altogether.    

   Adrien jumped over one and used the guy's back to catapult him into the other guy on the right. Slamming into the man's chest he gripped the guy by his shirt and hurled him into the third guy. Just as he was about to turn around, Adrien was hit across the black with a rusted metal pipe. The force of the blow was so great that part of the pipe broke off and the loose end clattered across the ground. Adrien, face first in the dirt whipped over onto his back and kicked his attacker in the gut. He heard a gasp and the other end of the pipe chinking against the cobblestone. Rolling back he got to his feet and faced Jess. "For that hit, you'll pay for it." He spat and wiped the blood coming from his mouth.    

   "You think I'm scared of you! You may have roughed up my homeboys bad, but they're weak!"Jess laughed and flicked out a switchblade. "You know, when I left Wanashi, I hoped to leave my street days behind me. Guess you never can truly run from your roots."Adrien sighed and surged forward. He aimed a kick at Jess's chest. However Jess caught his foot and savagely twisted it to the right until a pop was heard. Adrien gave a choked gasp and wrenched his foot away. Snarling he snapped his foot back into socket and then let loose a barage of furious punches and kicks on Jess. Jess himself took each hit with frightening power and managed to get a couple punches on Adrien and slashed up his arm and reopened his leg wound. Adrien shook his head as scarlet dropletts fell around him. Glaring at Jess he straightened himself and then quickly delivered the killing blow to Jess's diaphram. Jess dropped like a rock gasping for breath. Adrien walked over to him and kicked him repeatedly in the stomach. "Stay away from my apartment you douchebag."Adrien snarled and gave one last kick to the head for good measure.  

    Adrien then limped over to his door and unlocked it. Walking up two flights of stairs to his apartment he then collapsed on his bed too tired to deal with his injuries at the moment. 'I knew this city was rough, but I didn't know that the influence of skyskating was this strong.' He thought weakly and shut his eyes.
