Gisela sighed looking out of the window at the falling snow, she couldn't believe that it was Christmas and things were changing so much; she wrapped her blanket around her and hoped that everything was going to be okay.

Sergio watched her from the doorway, things had improved since he had marked Gisela, he was pleased to see her not so fragile and it was a good sign that she would recover one day from what Carlos had done to her.

"You should be sleeping," Sergio murmured moving away from the door, he peeked at Fernando as he slept and he knew that it wouldn't be long now until they were free; he didn't want to think about what was going to happen and he could only hope that they all escaped.

Gisela looked at Sergio, he had been so kind to her since she had tried to jump and she actually felt safe; he had made sure that the maids couldn't come anywhere near her and she was protected by him or Fernando all the time without having to worry about anything.

"I can't sleep," Gisela whispered shaking her head, she looked back out at the falling snow and she couldn't help but shiver at how cold it was getting; she jumped a little surprised when Sergio wrapped his arms around her and pulled her back into his warm body.

Sergio held Gisela close and stared out of the window, he knew that she was thinking about something and it made him curious; he was sure that she would ask him sooner or later.

"Do you miss them?" Gisela asked softly, she turned to look at Sergio and watched his face; she didn't know why she asked but she was just curious.

Sergio looked down at Gisela not sure what she was asking about, there were a number of people that he hadn't seen for years that he missed but he was just glad to have Fernando and Gisela with him now.

"Your parents?" Gisela clarified softly, she didn't want to upset him and she would understand if he didn't want to talk about his family in anyway.

Sergio took a deep breath and looked out of the window, he hadn't seen his parents since he was nine years old; he had been taken from them just like his older siblings had and he hadn't seen them since.

"I don't really remember them," Sergio revealed knowing that he had few memories of his parents, he remembered his mother crying when he was taken from them but that was all.

Gisela nodded her head, she cuddled into Sergio's arms and buried her head into his neck; she knew so little about what went on with werewolves when they were children only that they were taken at an early age.

"Do you?" Sergio asked brushing his fingers through her hair, he looked over at Fernando and he watched him; he wondered how long Fernando would pretend to be asleep for before he made his move.

Fernando had been taken from his parents at the age of nine, it had been rough on him as well and Sergio knew that they would probably never be reunited with their parents or siblings again.

Gisela only shrugged her shoulders, sometimes she did miss her family when things were hard and she wished that she could go home but then she remembered how her mother had treated her and how they had been so quick to turn their backs on her.

"You'll always have us," Sergio promised remembering what Fernando had told him about Gisela's past, her family had sold her out to pay off her father's debts to Carlos; they had turned their backs on her leaving her with a husband that she hadn't wanted.

Gisela nodded her head, she closed her blue eyes and cuddled into Sergio's arms knowing that he was right.

Fernando looked at Sergio while he settled Gisela back in bed, he was pleased that his mates were finally getting along and he knew how tense things would get soon; he couldn't imagine what was going to happen.

"You've thought about it," Fernando said watching Gisela sleep, he was pleased to see her getting some rest; things were going to rapidly change from here on out and she would have to be ready.

Sergio covered Gisela up, he nodded his head with a smile and he couldn't deny that he hadn't thought about her carrying their pups; he loved the idea but she wasn't ready yet and he was more than happy to wait for when she was.

"Of course," Sergio replied looking at Fernando, they both wanted pups at some point and they were sure that they would have them by this time the next year; he couldn't wait to be a father and he had waited a long time for the chance to be one.

"What will you do if they come looking?" Fernando asked softly, he sat down on the bed knowing that there was a large chance that their parents would seek them out after the rebellion.

Fernando feared what would be coming for them, he didn't know anything really about his own parents but Sergio's father had made the news quite a bit in the past; he hated humans more so than either of his sons and he would be a threat to Gisela.

Sergio didn't say anything, he just watched Gisela sleep and he knew that Fernando was right; he didn't want to think about what he would do when it came to his own father being a threat.

"He won't lay a hand on Ela," Sergio promised softly, he had seen her hurt enough for a lifetime and he wasn't going to let anyone do anything else; he wanted nothing more than to move on from this nightmare and forget everything that they had been through.

Fernando frowned, he dreaded to think what would happen if Sergio fought his father; he didn't see it ending well and he knew that it would only end in death.

José María Ramos took a deep breath as he leant back against his cell wall, he felt the feeling in his bones that told him soon he would be free; he had waited years for the day to arrive and he would get his family back.

José María looked at Paqui while she slept, he was pleased that she was getting some rest and soon they would have their children back; he had no idea what to expect but no human would get in his way.

The chains on his hands made José María wondered how stupid these humans were, anyone who attempted to take Paqui from him had died a painful death and he wasn't going to let anything happen to her.

José María looked out of the window, he stared up at the moon and he wondered what his three children were doing; he prayed that his daughter and two sons were faring well, he didn't want to think that they hadn't survived to see the day their kind took over.

José María was determined to reunite his family, he was sure that they would all have wonderful mates and he wondered if he had any grandchildren yet; he knew that Paqui would adore any that they did have.

Paqui had suffered so much since they had lost their youngest son, Sergio, she had sobbed for days and José María had done what he could to comfort her but he had felt so helpless.

All of their children had been taken from them at the age of nine years old, José María had heard that one of his son's had been in the cages and he hoped that they would be one of the ones leading the charge against the humans.

José María would kill every human in his path, none of them deserved to live after what they had done to the supernaturals.
