Snow blowing throughout
the winter sky like the air
breezes by.
Pins and needles.
Sharp, numb pain from
the winter snow.
Winter striking my face
like new forms of weather
unseen before.
Snowflakes changing shapes
into constant reminders of
the coldness.
Infected by frostbite.
Sharp, numb pain from
the winter snow.
Winter snow shines,
and glows to the third
degree.
Numbing with an intensity
that shows no mercy
or care.
The winter snow so
chilling and yet so
embraceable.
Can't deny the pain any
longer, shivering so cold.
Can't escape. Can't fight.
Can't try to free myself.
Can't fight the urge to go
outside, and freeze.
But warmth brings me back.
Back to my sanity.
Back to health.
Agonizing shivers.
Alone and restless.
Apprehensive I would
like to be.
Stone cold like ice.
Adrenaline pumping hard
into my blood stream.
I'm going. I'm free.
I'm gone.
I'm dead.
