A collection of poems exploring dissociation, obsession, emotional shutdown, and the quiet ways a person can disappear while still standing in their own skin. These pieces are fragments of survival, acceptance, and the monsters we learn to live beside. These pieces are my experiences, my truths - the way I feel and navigate the world. Not everyone will see or live these moments the same way.

A collection of poems!!!

Every human needs help at some point, and though no one would have never thought it, Lucy Monroe needs help. She lives in a safe zone; shielded away from our evil world and people. She has never - aside from her parents - had an actual friend and she’s as obedient as a lap dog. 
 Soon enough, she’ll realize that in helping others, she’s really helping herself. But help is coming regardless, wether she wants it or not.

Begging won't work, it only brings him more satisfaction. Crying will only prolong your life in the slightest, but at that point you'll wish you were dead. Being quiet only makes him know you're trying to be strong, though you're failing and you both know it. Nothing ever works, in this house of madness. Once you've stumbled upon the door step, you'll wish you had listened to the saying "curiosity killed the cat". Because in this house, you're the cat, also known as his prey. You'll never leave, never escape. Few make it past midnight, even less make it pass 2:00 a.m. Almost no one makes it past 4:00 a.m., and no one, has made it to the morning.

There are no characters here. No names, no timelines. Just raw emotion - for anyone who's ever felt too much and then suddenly... nothing. This piece was written on a quiet night when I didn't know what else to do but write. If you're here, maybe you're carrying something heavy too. Maybe this will help you cry. Maybe this will help you breathe. Either way - this is for you.

This is my story

This story is a long work in progress, chapters are generally 1-2 pages long, Enjoy!

I suffer from depression so I write poems. Yeah these explain how I feel. They also explain how I cope. It will contain self-harming but I will put a warning at the beginning of the chapter so if certain things trigger you, you don't have to read it. If anyone wants to give me advice or strategies on how to cope in a better way you are more than welcome to. Some of these are not related to me just sad poems that I have written whilst depressed. Not all of these are poems most of them are but some are just things going through my head that I need to let out. Thank you for reading and like I said earlier if you want to try and help me PM me.

Trigger warning: -Mentions of death -Insinuation of self harm 7 poems born from hatred which gave birth to healing. Let's leave our demons in 2023 and make 2024 a better year. Death is not the answer to our struggles nor is suffering. Challenges will come and we will have to face them. They will make us reach our limits but we will have to surpass them. Struggles are not a curse but a gift and an opportunity to grow. So let's embrace them and embrace ourselves. Dressed in despair is a short poem temptingly inviting you to a quick trip into the reality and environment that succumbs individuals (mainly male audience) unto the vivid world of stripers, dancers, and everything in between.

Emarlia is a girl that is good sometimes, and bad other times at her school. She ends up meeting somebody that'll change her life forever. The new hot, arrogant sexy guy ends up coming to her school. Yes he's like the title says he is. But there is something bothering Emarlia. She wants to know what is up with the new guy. Of course the new guy has something to hide, he isn't as he seems. Whatever he is keeping a secret, Emarlia wants, no needs to find out. But will she end-up falling in love with him instead? In the end will it be a (Bad romance?)

The whole story is based off of the song 'How We Love' by Ingrid Michaelson.

Help is just a word , with a meaning. Every word has one. This one's no different. So why does it seem different to me . It's just an ordinary word. It's a word that everyone can get. Everyone seems be able to reach out and grab it. But I can't. No body is around to see me when I'm trying to drain every last drop of life from my body in hopes to just feel good. better. numb.
