to dress like a adult
they treat you like a kid
You're old enough to work
But too young to live free
You're old enough to get beat
but too young to speak your mind
You're old enough to listen to what they say
be their little slave
follow their every word
to not speak
to shut up
to pipe down
to let them in your buisness
to stand still
and stay shackled
But you're too young to
let your opinions
finally be heard
to rise up
to your opressors
to fight
for your human rights
to love
to live
to purse
happiness
to recieve fair justice
because i'm american
it doesn't matter
how old i might be
as long as I'm human
so make up your mind
