Chapter 16

*Emma's POV*

I wake up in a bright room, with beeping machines. I am in a hospital. The last thing I remember is Gold sacrificing himself, and myself wondering where all his darkness went. I look to my side and Killian is holding my left hand, and he is asleep on the edge of the hospital bed. I look down to my feet where I Henry is laying on them, also asleep. My boys. I move my foot and I watch as Henry's eyes flutter open.

"Mom! You're okay!" He about yells. Killian then jolts awake.

"Love, you're awake." He says happily.

"Yes, what happened?" I ask.

"You were really weak after defeating the beast, it caused stress on the babies, causing you to pass out." Killian explains.

"Are they alright, are we positive it's a they?"

"Yes, they are alright. We had them check, you're having a boy and a girl." Henry says now getting into the conversation.

"Emma-" Killian interrupts, "There is someone here that you might want to see."

"Who?" I ask, but my question is answered when my mother walks into the room, I start crying.

"It worked, you're back!" I say, tears falling down my pale cheeks.

"You did it Emma!" She says rushing to my bedside. "You guys saved everyone." She continues and pulls me into an embrace.

"We are not done yet, there is still Cornelius. Where is he?" I ask.

"We don't know, but you will be released later today, we'll let you go looking for him." My father says moving from his position in the door way.

"We will find him, love, and he will pay." Kilian says.
