Nina's pov

"Hello?" I hear Ian say.

I sit up in his bed and see him standing by the window on his phone.

"She is? Okay! We will be right there!"

He runs over to me.

"Nina! She's awake! Moms awake!" He smiles.

"Ian! That's great!" I stand up and we hug.

"Come on, we need to get to the hospital." Ian starts getting dressed.

I brush my teeth and throw on a dress.

We drive to the hospital and run inside.

"Mom?" Ian says as we enter her room.

Everyone is sitting around the bed.

I walk over and stand by Robyn.

"My sweet boy." Edna says.

"Mom, I am so glad you're okay." Ian starts crying.

Edna hugs him.

"Nina, hi!" She says to me next.

I walk over to her and start crying.

"Don't cry my babies. I'm fine. Look at me. I'm a Somerhalder. We are strong." She smiles.

Dr. Aspen walks into the room.

"Good morning everyone. I'm glad to see smiling faces. So Edna, we are going to keep you one more night. Everyone else you are able to go home today." Dr. Aspen says.

Robyn smiles.

"Is there a way i can stay with my wife tonight?" Robert asks.

"Of course. We are moving her to another room and you're welcome to stay with her." Dr. Aspen smiles.

An hour later we are in Edna's new room telling her goodbye.

"We'll go home and clean around the house for you guys okay?" Ian says.

Robyn and Robert have already left for their homes.

"Thank you honey." Edna kisses Ian on the cheek.

"Bye Nina. We will see you both in the morning when we get home." Mr. Somerhalder says.

Ian and I get into the car and I pull my phone out.

"Hey Phoebe!" I say into the phone.

"Everything is okay. Edna gets to come home in the morning." I say.

"Great! How is Harlow doing? We will be home tomorrow night." I say.

"Is there enough milk?" I ask.

"Okay good. Give her kisses from Ian and I okay? And thank you guys so much for doing this for us. It means a lot." I say to Phoebe.

We get back to Ian's parents house and walk inside.

"Ian baby, you go on up and shower. I'll start cleaning the kitchen." I smile at him.

"Come with me." He says.

I grab his hands.

"You and I both know if I do that, this house isn't getting cleaned." I wink at him.

He starts laughing.

"But we didn't finish the other night." He pouts his lips out.

"You can wait till we get back home smolder." I say.
