Baby Talk

Nina's POV
---------------

"I like this couch. It's..fun." I sit down on a pretty blue couch. "We could add bright colored pillows.

Ian sits down on it.

"It's comfy. I like it. We'll take it." Ian tells the salesman.

We've been furniture shopping all week for the new house. We have the guest room furnished, the dining room, all the rooms upstairs except for the nursery. And now the living room.

"We need to figure out what to do for the nursery." I grab Ian's hand.

"Well what color crib are you wanting?" Ian looks at pictures on a stand.

"White. I want her room to be bright. And cute." I run my other hand across the back of a couch as we walk to the doors.

"I want to do one of the walls with this pretty wallpaper I found in a magazine. I'll show you when we get to the house. And the other walls I might leave white and do fun colorful decorations."

"You have it all planned out." Ian smirks.

"You know me." I shrug my shoulders up.

"How about we order subs and head home. The pool man is coming by later to measure and stuff." Ian opens the car door for me.

"Fine with me. I'll eat and probably take a little nap." I lean my seat back a little.

Ian's POV

The pool contractor arrives to the house and I take him out back.

"Wow you have a big yard." The man looks around.

"Yeah 4 acres of land." I say.

"Well you'll have plenty of room for the pool. Where are you thinking about having it?" The man walks down the steps into the grass.

"I was thinking a few feet from here. Not to far out. We want room for other things to add in the future." I say to the man.

"Alright, well I'll get to measuring." The man pulls out his tools.

I walk back inside the house and grab a water from the fridge. I turn around and see Nina walking down the stairs.

"How was your nap?" I sit down and pull her into my lap.

"I don't know, ask the little kicker who kept me up." Nina pokes her belly.

"Do you want something else to eat?" I kiss her back.

"I might warm up a pizza." Nina stands up and walks to the freezer.

"Yum. Well I'm going to finish up outside with the pool man. I never got his name." I look out the door.

Nina turns the oven on and leans her back against the counter top.

"I might go into the square later and get my nails done." Nina holds her hands up. "Or go to scoops." She laughs.

"If you go to scoops I'm coming too!" I kiss her.

"Scoops it is." She smiles up at me.

"Okay I got everything measured. Looks good and I've called, we will start on the pool next week. Break ground this weekend." The man and I walk around the house to the drive way.

"Thank you again. We will see you this weekend!" I tell him.

He hands me a paper with the date on it.

I walk back inside and sit down at the table. Nina walks over and hands me a slice of pizza.

"Thank you." I take a bite out of it.

"Jules called while you were outside. I told her about the house and she said she wants a room." Nina laughs.

"Tell her to come visit. Paul is coming by tomorrow to check it out." I take another bite of the pizza.

"Is he getting a key like he did to the condo?" Nina sits down in front of me.

"Ha! I haven't decided yet. I only gave him that key to the condo cause I kept losing mine." I shake my head.

"Did I ever tell you the time I came home and I walked up stairs and Paul was laying in his boxers on my bed eating donuts?" I look at Nina and start laughing.

"He what! That is so funny!" Nina starts laughing.

"I just stood in the door way shaking my head." I keep laughing.

"That's why I love Paul. He's such a joker. Between you and him on set we have to watch our backs like crazy." I poke Nina's side.

"Ha! I know!" Nina walks into the living room and sits down on the couch.

"Hey, you okay?" I get up and go over to her.

"She just kicked really hard and it took my breath away." Nina rubs her belly.

"We'll sit down for awhile." I lift her legs into my lap and start messaging her feet.

"Mmm..you should do this more often." Nina leans her head back against the pillow.

"If you do mine." I wink at her.

"When you're pregnant, I'll massage your feet." She winks back at me.

"No fair." I pout my lips out.

"Awe, does the big baby need a kiss?" Nina throws her arms out.

I wrap her in mine and she kisses my neck and back up to my lips.

"Better?" She smiles.

"Better." I kiss her again.

"I ordered her some outfits." Nina pulls out her phone.

"Oh yeah, let me see?" She hands me her phone and I slide through the clothes she bought.

"Those are cute." I smile as I slide through.

"Can we drive into Atlanta and go to ikea tomorrow? I wanna get her crib, and then go to pottery barn and get the bedding I picked out." She crawls into my lap and puts her arms around my neck.

"Of course we can. I'm ready to help decorate the room." I lean my head into hers.

"Then it's a date." She kisses my nose.

"We can also have a nice romantic dinner at that place you love with the great cheesecake." I smile.

"You mean the Cheesecake Factory?" Nina starts laughing.

"You know I don't pay attention to the names of places we eat. You always just tell me how to get there." I laugh with her.

"Well smolder, we will have a shopping date and then a nice romantic date for dinner." She kisses me on the lips and smiles when she pulls away.
