Nina's POV
--------------

"Dad!" I shout as my dad walks up to the front porch from the car.

"I'm so happy you're finally here!" I throw my arms around him.

Dad kisses my cheek and smiles wide.

"Nina! I'm happy to be here too." He kisses me again.

Ian walks out of the front door holding Harlow.

"Harlow, say hi to papa!" I grab Harlow from Ian and hand her to my dad.

"Nina, Ian!" He stares at her and smiles.

He starts crying.

"Daddy don't cry!" I say.

"She's so cute. I can't believe I'm a papa!" He smiles and wipes a tear away.

Harlow makes a few little noises.

"Was she easy to fly with?" Dad asks as we head inside the house.

"Oh yeah. She slept, ate, slept, played, and ate some more." Ian laughs.

"Sounds like your brother." Dad points to him. He's on the phone with his boss.

"Or Nina. Nina eats a lot too." Ian winks at me.

I punch him in the arm.

Dad starts laughing at us.

"Ian, son. How is it being a dad?" My dad asks.

"I love it. It's the best feeling in the world knowing I have a little girl. She's definitely the second best thing to come into my life." Ian smiles at me and pulls me into his arms.

"The first, this beautiful human." He kisses the top of my head.

"But I do want 2 more." Ian says.

"Or 3 maybe." I add. And Ian smiles.

"But not till she is 2 or 3." I say.

"Take your time. Enjoy the time with the first baby. You'll miss it when it passes." Mom says to us.

We all head out to the back porch.

Ian and my brother jump into the pool.

"So dad, how long are you staying?" I ask dad.

"I'm only getting to get off work for 3 days." He says with a frown.

"Well don't worry dad. We will come visit you in Canada." I smile at him.

"Nina! Come swim!" My brother shouts.

"Come on baby." Ian adds.

I roll my eyes with a smile and stand up.

"Fine." I say.

"Ian tell dad what we did in New Zealand." I say to Ian as I step into the water.

"What?" Dad asks.

"You know sir, you have a crazy daughter." Ian starts saying.

"I'm aware. She was always doing something crazy growing up. Jumping off bridges into the lakes, zip lining, para sailing, rock climbing." Dad says.

"Well she made me do this bungee swing with her off a cliff." Ian says.

"You did what?" Dad starts laughing.

"That's insane!" He says.

"We have a video." I say.

"I'll show you later dad." I smile and dive under the water.
