[MG is talking to Nia.]
MG: Triad kidnapped Landon after all. And Hope needs help, so... I got to bounce.
Nia: After you let me out of here?
MG: That's Dr. Saltzman's call.
Nia: I hope he gets here soon. I need to go home. My family needs me. [Nia is shot by tranquilizer and she drops ubconscious. MG turns around and sees his mom.]
MG: Ma? [Mrs. Greasley shots tranquilizer at MG, too and he loses conscious.]
Everyone glares at her.
"What kind of mother does that to a child?!" Glared Caroline.
[Mrs. Greasley speaks in speaker.]
Mrs. Greasley: Power's down. Move in.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-CORRIDOR-DAY
[Audrey approaches Rafael.]
Audrey: Hey, you okay?
Rafael: Um... my mind still won't settle down. Look, I'm sorry, but I can't join the fight.
"Wasn't she the one who told you to not join? I'm syre that's not why she approached you." Said Davina.
Audrey: Don't worry, I'm not going alone. [Hope, Lela, Jed, Kaleb and Josie walk toward them.]
Audrey: Squad answered the Bat-Signal.
Some chuckle.
[Lizzie joins.]
Lizzie&Josie: She's coming?
"They still haven't made up?" Asked saddened Caroline.
Hope: We need all the help I can get, so please put your twin war on pause.
Kaleb: Where's MG at?
Audrey: He's on his way.
Hope: Let's load up while we wait for him. Come on. [Squad gets out of school. In the ground they see Triad men.]
Man: Oh, sorry. We were about to knock.
Everyone looks at armed men warily.
"Are you gonna be okay?" Asked Klaus.
"Of course." Answered Audrey and Hope.
Lizzie: Who the hell are you?
Man: Name's Burr. Triad Industries.
Hope: to propel [Magic doesn't work.]
Kaleb: I got this. [Kaleb speeds out, but sun burns him so he has to go back.]
Burr: What you don't got is magic. Which is why your daylight ring won't work. And what we have are stakes, wolfsbane... and other things. So I think you should invite us inside.
"I'll kill them!" Glared Klaus.
ALARIC'S CAR-DAY
[Alaric is driving. There is a traffic. Officer approaches him.]
Alaric: Morning, Officer. What's the holdup?
"Triad" Said Stefan.
Officer: Dr. Saltzman. Uh, Wickery Bridge is closed.
Alaric: Why?
Officer: Someone blew it up.
"Wickery Bridge is cursed. Always something is happening to that." Said Damon.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-HALL-DAY
[Burr is talking to students.]
Burr: We're looking for an artifact known as the Chalice of Arimathea. We have reason to believe it's part of your school's collection. Now, you know this place a lot better than we do, so the sooner you help us find it, the sooner we'll be gone. Triad thanks you for your time.
Everyone glares at him.
WAREHOUSE-DAY
[Clarke and Landon walk in warehouse that is used as storage.]
Landon: What is this place?
Clarke: A warehouse owned by my employer. Stores all the supernatural objects they've confiscated over the years.
Landon: Think you mean former employers. 'Cause busting me out is gonna make for a pretty awkward performance review.
Clarke: If you're worried about them following us, don't be.
"He left the photo on purpose." Realised Elijah.
Landon: Okay, well, if it's here, how are we gonna find it? This place is a haystack.
Clarke: Figure it out, little brother. Your family's counting on you.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-HOPE AND AUDREY'S ROOM-DAY
[Audrey calls Kol.]
Audrey: Uncle Kol, remember when you told me to call you if we were in danger?
"Good. So you have sense to call me." Said Kol.
"Hey! I'm not stupid." Pouted Audrey.
Kol: Where are you?
Audrey: In school.
Kol: I'm coming. [There is a sound of door opening and closing.]
Kol: What happened? [Car's engines's sound is heard.]
"Thank you." Said Klaus toKol. Kol nodded.
Audrey: Triad kidnapped Landon and we were gonna look for him. Sorry for not telling. Hope asked me not to...
"Thanks for throwing me under bus." Said Hope.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to. And if you listen what i say next it shows that i agreed with your decision. Not to mention, uncle Kol knows no one can force me do something i don't want to. I'm too stubborn for that." Said Audrey.
"That you are." Agreed Hope.
Audrey: ...and we were going with squad, so i was sure we could do it because we have supernatural abilities and if it came to worse i could use invasibility spell...
Kol: Were you captured?
Audrey: Kind of, sorry, i'm rambling. Triad got to us first. We are locked in school and they somehow managed to block magic here. They are armed. They have guns, stakes, wolfsbain and so on. They are looking for the Chalice of Arimathea and they asked us to find it. I think it's thrid key.
Kol: Okay. Don't worry. I'm coming. Don't engage and stay out of their radar. Both you and your sister be careful, okay?
"I have never heard Kol so worried." Said Elijah. Klaus agreed. Marcel looks surprised, along with Salvatores.
"Well, we are his favourite nieces. Of course, he worries." Bragged Audrey. Kol looks amused.
Audrey: Don't worry. It'll proabably be over before you will even come here from New Orleans.
Kol: That's not reassuring!
Audrey: Look, they aren't the only one with guns. I have my daggers and the gun you gave me and arrows and other things.
"You gave her gun?!" Asked Hayley.
"We were being attacked by Malivore's creatures almost everyday. Wouldn't it be more surprising if he didn't?" Said Audrey. Hayley nodds at that.
Audrey: I'm not defensless. I promise nothing will happen to Hope.
"What about you?" Saif Hope.
Kol: And you.
Audrey: And me. I just called you so you would know what's happening like i promised i would.
Kol: Okay, be safe and let's hope i'll be there on time.
Audrey: Davina will worry about you for disappearing without a word.
"You didn't tell me." Glared Davina.
"I was in hurry." Defended Kol.
Kol: Yeah. She will be mad. I'm going on plane now, i'll be there in few hours.
Audrey: 10 hours are more than few hours, but okay. You really don't need to worry. We will be okay.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-UNDERNEATH THE SCHOOL-DAY
[MG wakes up and stands up. MG's mom approaches him.]
Mrs. Greasley: I can explain.
MG: Where are we?
Mrs. Greasley: Underneath the school. This tunnel is gonna lead you outside the gates. Your daylight ring will start to work again once you clear the perimeter.
"At least she cares about her son." Said Caroline.
MG: Why is my daylight ring not working? And how do you know that it's not? [We see fountain made by skulls.]
Mrs. Greasley: This fountain. It nullifies the magic inside the school. That's how we got in undetected.
Everyone glares at her.
MG: "We"?
Mrs. Greasley: Triad.
MG: You're working with the bad guys?
Mrs. Greasley: We are the good guys.
MG: I don't see it like that.
Mrs. Greasley: We'll talk about this later. Right now I'm trying to prevent one of nature's greatest evils from rising up, so if you could just go...
"She has good intentions" Said Stefan.
[MG hugs Mrs. Greasley. He shots her in behind and Mrs. Greasley loses conscious.]
"Ha. Payback, bitch!" Said amused Audrey.
"Now turn that thing off!" Said Klaus.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-ALARIC'S OFFICE-DAY
[Hope, Lizzie and Josie enter Alaric's office. Hope uses phone on desk, but it doesn't call.]
Hope: (sighs) It's dead. We have to find the school cell. [They start searching for phone.]
"But Audrey has the phone." Said Freya.
"Hope probably didn't remember my second phone." Said Audrey.
"You have senond phone?" Asked Hayley.
"Aunt Bex got me new phone on my birthday and i love my last phone, too and didn't want to throw it away, so i kept it." Said Audrey.
Lizzie: Check MG's tighty-whities.
Josie: Really? This is serious.
Lizzie: Oh, I'm sorry. We can't all be born with resting concerned pouty face.
Audrey, Kol and Damon snicker.
[Josie gasps. Hope looks at shelf and sees a red box.]
Hope: Didn't this shelf used to have books on it?
Josie: Yeah. That's weird. [Hope takes box and puts it on desk.]
"Another secret? How many secrets does Alaric have?" Asked annoyed Freya.
"A lot." Said Audrey.
Hope: Whatever they're doing to block out our magic must have knocked out a cloaking spell your dad had.
Lizzie: Big shocker. Dad's hiding something from us. [Lizzie shakes it.]
Hope: Unless it has the school phone in it, it doesn't matter.
Josie: Sorry I don't feel like laughing while my world's falling apart.
Lizzie: Your world? What about my world? I'm the one who's eventually going to be absorbed by my own twin.
Josie: If you lose the Merge.
Lizzie: Which I'm obviously going to. I'm the weak, broken one.
Josie: And like clockwork... victim.
"She is the one talking." Snorted Audrey.
[Audrey enters Alaric's office.]
Audrey: What are you doing here? I was looking for you everywhere.
Hope: We are looking for phone. Where did you disappear?
Audrey: To get my second phone. I had to call uncle Kol.
Hope: (rolls her eyes) Of course you did.
"Are you... jaelous?" Asked Elijah to Hope. Hope didn't answer.
"Oh, come on! You don't need to be jaelous. Uncle Kol is enough for both of us." Said Audrey.
"That's right. I have place for both of you." Said Kol and winked at Hope. Klaus is happy her daughters aren't alone, but is jaelous and scared of being replaced by Kol.
[Hope takes phone from Audrey.]
Hope: What's the password?
Audrey: What do you need it for?
Hope: To call Alaric.
Audrey: (rolls her eyes) Of course. And i'm not saying password in front of Saltzmans. [Audrey takes phone back and put the password in, then gives phone back to Hope. Hope calls Alaric.]
Alaric: Hello?
Hope: It's Hope. Triad's here.
Alaric: Is everyone okay?
Hope: Yeah, but our powers are gone.
Alaric: What do they want?
Hope: They said that the third artifact is in the school somewhere.
Alaric: You're kidding.
Hope: The Chalice of Arithmetic or something?
"Chalice of Arimathea." Corrected Kol.
Audrey: Chalice of Arimathea.
Alaric: I don't know about it. Uh, listen, I, uh... I've got to find my way into the school. But just promise me you're not gonna do anything crazy.
"It's like he doesn't know us." Said Hope.
Hope: We're not the only ones in danger. Landon is, too. I can't just stand here and do nothing.
Alaric: Hope, for once in your life, will you please just listen to me? If Triad wants the chalice, help them get the chalice. You don't have your powers.
"For once, i agree with him." Said Klaus.
"Listen to Alaric." Said Caroline.
"You won't listen to him, will you?" Said Hayley to Mikaelson twins. They grinned at her. Hayley groaned.
Alaric: You are vulnerable, and if you try to resist, someone could get hurt.
Do you understand me?
Hope: Yeah. [Hope hangs up. Audrey takes back her phone.]
Lizzie: So, what do we do now?
Hope: Now... we figure out a way to get our powers back, and we kick some paramilitary ass.
Audrey: Leave that to me. They aren't the only one with army.
Josie: Wait, Dad said not to do anything crazy.
Hope: Me defying your dad isn't crazy. It's consistent.
Audrey: I haven't listened to your father day in my life and i'm not planing to start now. [Burr opens the door.]
"Fuck." Said Hayley.
"Oh no." Said Freya and Davina.
"Bloody hell! Can't you not get into trouble every minute?" Said Klaus.
Burr: Well, at least we know where you stand.
Hope: You're damn right we do.
Burr: You're not very scared of me, are you? [Burr poins gun at Hope.]
"I'll kill him!" Yelled Mikaelsons together. (Elijah didn't yell, of course, but he glared murderiously.)
Burr: How about now? [Audrey pushes Hope behind her.]
Audrey: I'm a Mikaelson, darling. You have to try harder than that to scare me.
"Don't provoke him!" Said Elijah.
"I needed him to get attention on me instead of Hope." Said Audrey.
"Audrey! Stop doing that!" Said Hope.
"Don't be a hypocrite. You would do same in my place." Said Audrey.
[Hope tries to get out, but Audrey holds her back. Hope still manages to get out.]
Hope: That's your plan? You're gonna shoot a kid?
"See? She is doing same." Said Audrey.
"It's not comforting. Both of you need some self- preservation lessons!" Said Klaus.
Burr: This gun would never harm a human child. You four, however... [Burr takes out bullet from gun and showes it to them. Audrey takes out dagger quietly.]
"You have dagger with you?" Said slighly relieved Klaus.
"I told you. I always carry daggers with me." Said Audrey.
Burr: These bullets were formed from the mud of the Malivore pit and weaponized by Triad scientists. [Audrey glances at door and then looks back at Burr calculatly. Lizzie notices dagger and her eyes widen. Burr doesn't notice it, he's too entertained by showing off.]
Everyone is watching it nervously.
Burr: They can break the skin of any supernatural like a hot Knife through butter. [Audrey throws dagger at Burr and it hits him in the throat. He clunches his bleeding neck.]
Some look shocked.
"Good throw." Complimented Kol.
"Thanks." Said Audrey. Hayley looks at Audrey concerned, that's not what she wanted for her daughter. It shouldn't be so easy to kill someone for her.
[Hope and Audrey run at him. Audrey jumps at Burr, while Hope takes away gun. Lizzie and Josie watch shocked as Audrey holds dagger above Burr to stab him. He despite bleeding out turns Audrey on her back and gets on top of her, Audrey kicks him in the balls and pushes him off and then stabs him in the eye before he can even react. Audrey takes dagger out and stabs him again for safe measure. Lizzie and Josie look horrified.]
Everything happens so fast, they don't have time to react. Elijah sighs. Audrey and Hope were supposed to stay innocent. They are family's hope for redemtion after all.
"Audrey..." whispered Hayley. Audrey glances at Hayley.
"I had to do it when i had chance or he would. I couldn't pass that chance and risk my, Hope's and even Slatzman twins' life." Defended Audrey. Klaus hugs Audrey and kisses her head.
"We know, sweetheart. No one is blaming you." Said Klaus. Audrey looks at Hayley.
"I'm not judging you, Audrey. I understand why you had to do it and I love you. I just wish you didn't have to do this. I wish i was there to protect you." Sighed Hayley.
Hope: Audrey. You okay?
Audrey: Yeah. [Audrey takes out napkin and wipes off blood from her face.]
Josie: (stutters) You- you...
Lizzie: (panicking) You killed him. You killed him.
Audrey: Hope! Close the door and calm them. We don't want to attract more attention. [Hope nods and closes the door. Then goes to Lizzie and Josie to calm them.]
"How can you stay so calm after that?" Said Caroline.
"Someone needed to stay ratinal and take care of situation." Said Audrey.
[Audrey checks the pulse to make sure he's really dead.]
Audrey: Dead. (To twins) Hey, does your father have clothes here? Forget it. Hope, give your jacket. I can't be seen bloodied. [Hope gives Audrey her jacket.]
Josie: (yells) How can you be so calm?! You just killed someone. [Audrey pushes zipper all way up.]
"Stop screaming!" Yelled Kol and looked at door warrily.
Audrey: Not my first rodeo and if i didn't, he would kill us. I did what i had to do to protect myself and my sister. Now stop screaming before you get us caught. [Audrey grabs the corpse and pushes it away a little.]
Lizzie: What are you doing?
Audrey: Getting corpse out of way, so if they decide to look here, they won't see him. [Audrey rolls body in carpet.]
Audrey: Hope, help me push it to the corner. [Hope helps Audrey push corpse to the corner behind Alaric's desk. Then Audrey looks around and sees there isn't stains left.]
"Fortunetly, all the stains were on carpet." Said Audrey. No one has big reactions at all murder thing, but then again why should they? Who in this room hasn't gotten their hands dirty? She protected herself, her sister and friends, wouldn't they do the same? They would. So how could they judge?
Audrey: Thank you, Hope and good job. I know it's hard for you.
Lizzie: (frustrated) It should be hard for you, too!
Audrey: Let's get out of here. Hope, i'll meet you in our dorm. I'll get others, too, so we can kick some paramilitary ass as you said. Before that take care of Saltzmans and stay away from Triad guys and (glances at gun Hope's holding) if nessecery pull the trigger. [Hope nods. Audrey leaves.]
"You are good leader." Said Marcel.
"Thanks." Said Audrey.
