Chapter 30

SALVATORE SCHOOL-HOPE AND AUDREY'S DORM-NIGHT
[Audrey, Klaus and Hope are still hugging desperatly. None of them want to let go.]
Klaus: I was watching over you. All of you.
Hope: Then how did you not know we had cousin or...
Klaus: At first, my memories from there were hazy. But slowly i started remembering more and more.
Hope: Did you regret it? Sacrifing yourself...
Klaus: Never. I saved you. I died protecting my family. How could i regret that? [Audrey and Hope see lie detector sphere, which is on desk behind Klaus, glow blue and smile.]
Mikaelsons smile at Klaus.
"You have changed so much." Said Kol.
"He has." Said Elijah with proud smile.
Audrey: Were you at peace?
Klaus: Yes. [Audrey and Hope see lie detector sphere glow red.]
Mikaelsons, Caroline and even Stefan look at Klaus worried.
"You weren't at peace." Said Elijah.
"I didn't expect to be." Said Klaus.
Hope: You are lying! [Klaus follows Audrey and Hope's gaze and sighs.]
Klaus: I could have been, but i didn't want to. I wanted to watch over you two. I don't want to leave until you find peace yourselves. [Sphere glows blue. There is knock on a door and Alaric opens door. Lizzie and Josie are with him.]
Klaus: Give us few minutes. I want to say goodbye. [Alaric nods and closes the door.]
Hope: (whispers) I don't want to do this again.
Audrey: Dad, Please, don't leave me again.
People look at them sadly.
[Klaus caresses Audrey and Hope's faces.]
Klaus: Audrey, Hope, My littlest wolves, My miracle children. Even through the situation that brought me back and we had only one day, it has been gift. It's a gift i got to talk you to you ans spend time with, to be able to leave one final message. So please carry it with you in the years to come. I want you to know this. You will make mistakes in your life. That comes with being a Mikaelson. You will go through hard times. For no one with your power always knows how to use it properly. You will find love and you will lose it. For such is the burden of immortality like you said you wanted to become, Audrey. [Audrey nods, tears rolling down her face.]
"You wanted to become vampire?" Asked Freya.
"I'm a Tribrid. Vampirism is part of me, too." Said Audrey.
Klaus: But the most important thing about your life is that you live it. Because you two are my Peace. And I regret a lot of things, but I don't regret a single moment I spent with you. I love you so much. Always and forever.
Hope gets up and joins Klaus and Audrey's hug. People look at them with pity and sadness.
Audrey&Hope: (crying) Always and Forever. [They hug again.]
Audrey: Dad, promise me you'll find peace. You won't wait for us and find peace. Promise me.
Klaus: I can't do that, princess.
Hope: Dad, please. I can't live knowing you are suffering because of me. Please.
Klaus: I'm not suffering and none of this is your fault.
Audrey: Daddy, please. I won't let you do this despise everything, if i know you aren't going to be in peace. So promise us you'll go to peace.
Klaus smiles at them.
Hope: (sobbed out) Sphere will tell us if you lie.
Klaus: I promise. [Sphere glows blue. Klaus wipes the tears and opens the door. Alaric, Lizzie and Josie are standing nearby. When they see Klaus, they enter dorm.]
Klaus: Look away. It's easier if you don't look.
Hope: Nothing about this is easy.
Audrey: (sobs) I love you, daddy. Always and forever.
Hope: (sobs) I love you, too, dad. Always and forever.
Klaus: I love you, my littlest wolves. More than anything, more than everything. Always and Forever. [Klaus kisses Audrey and Hope's heads and then gives his hands to Lizzie and Josie to siphon. They do it. And Klaus Mikaelson dies once again.]
Mikaelsons(not Davina) can't hold back tears.
Josie: I'm sorry for your loss. [Hope nods.]
Audrey: Can you leave? [Saltzmans leave the room. Audrey pours water out of vase, flowers fall out, too and Audrey turns vase into beautiful urn, where she puts Klaus's ashes.]
