Chapter 60

SALVATORE SCHOOL-MUSIC ROOM-NIGHT
[Audrey is paying her (In reality, The shire's) song "Daddy's little girl" on guitar.]
Audrey: The smell of Old Spice
A flat cap on the dash
Windows rolled down in the wind
White lines flying past
Singing along with the radio
A little out of tune
Hanging onto that steering wheel
Was the man who hung the moon
"Your new song?" Asked Hayley.
"Yes." Said Audrey.
"Who is about?" Asked Freya.
"It will say." Answered Audrey.
Audrey: Used to wrap my hands around his little finger
Turns out he was wrapped around mine
He said "You can be anything you want to in this great big world"
But I'm always gonna be daddy's little girl
"It's about me?" Smiled Klaus. Audrey smiled at him.
"So you admit that you are daddy's girl!" Said amused Kol.
"I'm and so? I'm not ashamed of loving my dad." Said Audrey. Hayley looks jaelous, So does Hope.
Audrey: He always used to tell me "Don't grow up too fast
Love will come, love will go, your first won't be your last"
I didn't always listen when he gave me advice
Though I hate to admit it, but that man was always right
"Are we sure it's about Klaus?" Joked Davina.
"Dad gives good advices. He should probably listen to himself more." Said Audrey.
Audrey: Used to wrap my hands around his little finger

Klaus tears up, looking touched by Audrey's word. He never though he would manage to be a good dad.
Audrey: Used to wrap my hands around his little finger
Turns out he was wrapped around mine
He said "You can be anything you want to in this great big world"

Yes I'm always gonna be daddy's little girl, daddy's little girl. [Few tears roll down Audrey's face as she sang.]
"You will." Whispered Klaus and kissed Audrey's head. Then reached over and kissed Hope's head, too.
"You always will." Said Klaus. Elijah smiles at Klaus, looking proud. The most of the theater still looks shocked with Klaus's softness when it comes to his daughters.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-CELLAR-NIGHT
[Nia is in cellar. MG is talking to her.]
Nia: I was basically off the grid. Just me and my family. No neighbors, no friends. We only went to town for the necessities. Then one day, men from some place called Triad Industries showed up. They had guns. They said they would kill me and, like, erase me from memory if I didn't come here and do what they asked.
"Poor kid." Saod Hayley.
MG: I understand why you had to do it, but what about my mom?
Nia: I saw the way she talked to you. Honestly, she deserved it.
"She turned his mom in stone because they had argument?" Said Caroline in disbelief.
Nia: I am in so much trouble, aren't I?
MG: Listen, Nia, here, it's not about how bad you mess up, it's about if you make up for it. You can start by undoing the damage you've caused.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-HOPE AND AUDREY'S DORM-NIGHT
[Audrey looks exhausted and she's laying on her bed. Hope puts Caroline's dress in boc. She look tired, too. Audrey opens her arms and Hope goes into her arms.]
Mikaelsons smjle at them.
Audrey: Why did Landon ditch you?
Hope: He... he found out about his mom. [Audrey looks surprised.]
Audrey: How?
"Nosy Penelope. She read my songs." Grumbled Audrey annoyed.
Hope: Does it matter? I... i think we broke up. He is really mad at me.
Audrey: He will forgive you... eventually.
Hope: You don't know that.
Audrey: I know that he would be an idiot to lose a girl like you for something as stupid as that.
"It's not stupid. I would be very angry if someone hide something like that from me." Said Hayley.
"She was just trying to protect him." Defended Audrey.
"It's doesn't justify it." said Hayley.
Audrey: Are you okay?
Hope: Are you? I found out you ran from hall.
Audrey: (sighs) It's just... everything was reminding me dad and i -- i couldn't breath. I needed to go. Excepcially after i hurt Jed.
Klaus patted her hand.
Hope: I-- similar happened to me... Did you know that dad chose the dress i was wearing?
Klaus held Hope's hand, too.
Audrey: (surprised) He did? I mean i know he and Caroline had a thing and now i remember i have read that he gifted Caroline a dress, but i didn't think it was that dress. [There is a small silence.]
Hope: I miss him.
Audrey: I do, too. (Closes her eyes) So much.
Mikaelsons look at twins saddly.
Hope: I thought I could keep it all together. I've worked so hard to move on from all the things that have happened to me in my life. And then i just... i couldn't hold it anymore.
Audrey: Yeah. I know the feeling.
"You shouldn't bottle up your feelings. It's not good for you." Said Marcel. Audrey rolls her eyes.
Hope: Can... can you tell me a story about dad? [Audrey looks surprised, then looks at Hope sadly.]
Everyone looks at Hope surprised.
Audrey: You don't have many memories with him, do you? [Hope doesn't answer.]
Audrey: I'm sorry. I was raised by him, but all you had was phone calls. You deserved better.
"Weren't you and your mother same?" Said Caroline.
"Not really. Till i was 7, i was raised by mom and she would also visit once in a while. I had more time with mom than Hope did with dad." Said Audrey. People looked at Hope sadly.
"Damn Hollow and arsehole uncle step-brother!" Said Audrey.
"I promised i won't do it, what else do you want me to do?" Sighed Marcel, tired of Audrey's jabs.
"Well, If you keep your promise, when you go back to past, new me won't do it." Said Audrey.
Hope: It wasn't your fault.
Audrey: No, it wasn't. But i'm still sorry.
[Audrey looks like she realised something and looks at Hope.]
Audrey: That's why you are like that with Alaric, isn't it? That's why you are always trying to make him proud and get involved in his family. He was the one who was there when dad couldn't be. [Hope avoids Audrey's look.]
Klaus tries to hold back his jaelousy and anger toward Alaric. Hope looks down at her hands, feeling exposed.
Audrey: I'll try to be nicer with Saltzmans.
Hope: (stunned) What?
"What?" Said almost whole theatre shoked.
Audrey: If Alaric tries to manipulate you or twins try to bully you, i won't stay quiet, but i will try to avoid fighting with them unless necessery.
Hayley smiles proudly at Audrey.
Hope: You... you would do that for me? [Audrey notices how surprised, touched and hopefull Hope looks and smiles sadly.]
Audrey: You are my twin, Hope. There is nothing i wouldn't do for you. [Hope tears up and hugs Audrey tighter.]
Mikaelsons smile at Hope and Audrey's bond.
Hope: Thank you.
Audrey: I'm sorry i didn't realise how much it means for you before. [Hope losens her grip on Audrey a little and they lay cuddled up, looking up at celling.]
Hope: ...Story?
Audrey: (smiles) Have i ever told you when i had a fight with dad?
"Nothing serious." Said Audrey before people would start getting noisy.
Hope: (shocked) You fought with dad?
Audrey: Once. I was on a date with a boy... i don't really remember the name. Anyway, i was on a date and we were sitting in a caffee and dad saw us. He was surprised of course, i told him i was going out with friends.
Hope: (stunned) You lied to dad? But... but you never lied to him.
"What did i do?" Asked Klaus worried.
"No one died." Said Audrey.
"What kind of answer is that?!" Said Hayley.
Audrey: Well, usually i didn't, but i knew he would make big deal out of it. Boy just asked me out and i gave him a chance. I'd of course tell daddy if it became serious, but it really wasn't much. Anyway, dad invited himself to our table. I went to bathroom...
Hope: You left poor boy with our overprotective dad?
"Not smart choice." Said Freya.
Audrey: I needed loo! When i came back, i saw dad was talking with boy and the boy looked so pale and then he just stood up and ran.
Hope: (amused) Like actually run?
Audrey: Yes. I swear i have never seen someone run so fast and our family are the orginal vampires. [Hope laughs.]
People chuckle.
Audrey: Till this day i don't know what daddy told him, but everytime i met him in school or street after that, he ran in the opposite direction. [Hope laughs.]
"Suits him." Said Klaus smuggly.
Audrey: Now it's fun story to recall, but back then i was so angry i didn't talk to him for two days. 
"But you are acting same with Hope." Pointed out Freya.
"I had reason to be suspicious of Landon, dad didn't. And i was different before..." Said Audrey. No one asked before what, because everyone knew. Before she and Hope got fooled by Roman, before she lost her parents, before she lost her uncle, before she activated the curse, before everything went to south in her and her sister's life.
Hope: What? Why i have i never heard of that? [Audrey shruggs.]
Hope: What happened after? How did you make up?
Audrey: When i didn't talk to him, dad just gave me space on first day and went to his art room. Next day he started apologising and he looked on verge of tears.
"What?" Asked everyone surprised (including Mikaelsons).
"Well, last time he fought with his child, son stabbed him with torturing knife and locked him in basment and before that son called his worst nightmare to town and pretended to die. I would say he was rightfully worried." Said Audrey. Marcel groans. Kol looks amused. Klaus frowns, not liking Audrey and Marcel's relationship.
Audrey: When i saw how much he was stressing about it, i couldn't stay mad. I..i kinda felt bad, but i'm still stubborn. I couldn't just let it go, so we went on compromise. He promised to not threaten boys, if i told him about them before i went on date and where i would be going on date. I agreed and we made up.
"You agreed?" Asked surprised Klaus.
"I understood why you would be worried, so yes. And i didn't like fighting with you." Said Audrey.
Hope: Sometimes i wish we were normal family. If we were, then we wouldn't have to go through all this. We wouldn't have to lose our parents or be seperated. We could have had all the memories together. We could have whole family together.
Mikaelsons look guilty and sad.
"I'm sorry." Said Klaus.
"Despite what you think, it really wasn't your fault. It's price of being powerful being." Said Audrey.
Audrey: Sometimes i do, too. If it would bring our parents back, if i our family could be whole without hollows and all that shit, i would give up all my powers without hesistation.
"But you love being tribrid." Said Davina.
"I love my family more." Said Audrey. Davina looks at Audrey with understanding. For Marcel, Josh or Kol she would give up her powers, too. She would do it for Mikaelson twins, too. She really likes Audrey and Hope and by looks of it even Salvatores are starting to develop soft spot for them. Every Mikaelson share Davina's sentiments. For Audrey and Hope they would do absolutly anything and everyone of them shared one thought: Hollow would regret ever messing with their little princesses.
Hope: It's not fair that our family are immortals, but we still never have enough time.
Audrey: When have life had ever been fair to us?
Everyone looks at twins symathetically.
Hope: Can you tell me another story?
Audrey: Sure. Have i told you about...
SALVATORE SCHOOL-ALARIC'S OFFICE-NIGHT
[Alaric is drinking. Landon enters the office.]
Landon: Did you know?
Alaric: After the day I've had, I'm gonna need you to be a little more specific, Landon. I was a lawn ornament until about ten minutes ago.
Caroline winces.
"That mustn't have been nice." Said Damon.
Landon: Did you know that Hope and Audrey remembered meeting my mom? Did you know that Hope was lying to me about it?
Alaric: Yeah, I did.
Landon: So you're a liar, too.
Some look at Landon sympathetically.
Alaric: If you're looking for someone to blame, go ahead, you can blame me. I can take it. But just cut Hope a little slack, okay? She just wanted to protect you.
Hope smiles at Alaric.
Landon: (crying) Protect me? I can't deal with this right now. [Landon leaves.]
SALVATORE SCHOOL- CORRIDOR-NIGHT
[MG is talking to his mom.]
MG: How you feeling?
Mrs. Greasley: Much lighter, thank you.
MG: Look, Ma, I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier. You didn't raise me to talk to grown folks like that. But you did raise me to be my own man and to make my own choices. (Sighs) I have friends here. Uh, Dr. Saltzman has my back. This is the only place that would give me a second chance after doing what I did.
Mrs. Greasley: Milton...
MG: I don't like being called that. And the only way I am leaving this place is dead, with a stake in my heart. Or when I graduate. Hopefully, it's when I graduate.
"With that school's system, it'll be the first one." Said Kol.
SALVATIRE SCHOOL- CORRIDOR-NEAR THE ENTRANACE-NIGHT
[Penelope has luggage with her and is leaving.]
Josie: You weren't gonna say goodbye? [Penelope turns to Josie.]
Penelope: I did, in my letter. Which I'm guessing you finally read. [Josie walks to Penelope.]
Josie: Belgium?
Penelope: My mom got a job. And there's a great witch-only school, so I don't have to deal with wolves or vamps or Lizzie.
Josie: Penelope. Don't leave.
"I told you. Posie is good couple." Said Audrey.
Penelope: You know, for weeks, I have been hoping that you would give me one reason to stay. Instead, you gave me a thousand reasons to go. Losing on purpose, always putting yourself second. My heart can't take it. (Tearing up) And I will not wait around and watch what happens to you next.
Josie: What are you talking about? [Penelope takes out journal.]
Penelope: You know the pens I was using to spy? This... records all of it. It's basically a log of everything written down at the Salvatore School. And I want you to read what your dad wrote about something called the Merge.
"She knows about merge?" Asked Stefan.
"That's why she was trying to make Josie stand up to others so much with such terrible ways. She's desperate to save her. She really loves Josie." Said Caroline and looked at Penelope with new light.
Josie: I don't understand. [Penelope gives journal to Josie.]
Penelope: Well, you will. [Penelope caresses Josie's face.]
Penelope: One day, you will understand why I did everything I did. [Both Josie and Penelope are crying. They kiss. Then they pull away from kiss and Penelope hugs Josie.]
Penelope: (Exhales) I love you, Jo-Jo. [Penelope pulls away.]
Penelope: I love you with all of my obnoxious, selfish, evil heart.
"So romantic." Said Audrey and Davina.
[Penelope leaves.]
SALVATORE SCHOOL GROUNDS -NIGHT
[MG's mom is driving car. She stops at the gates. Landon is walking there.]
Mrs. Greasley: Landon, right?
Landon: Hi.
Mrs. Greasley: I was mortified when I heard what MG put you through.
Landon: Uh, we worked it out. It's cool.
Mrs. Greasley: Let me give you a ride somewhere.
Landon: Thanks, I'm just getting some much-needed air.
Mrs. Greasley: It wasn't a question. [Mrs. Greasley electro shocks Landon. Landon falls on ground.]
"What the fuck?" Said Hayley. Everyone except Hope and Audrey looked at MG's mom surprised.
TRIAD BUILDING-NIGHT
[Landon is in triad base. He is tied up. Clarke walks down the stairs.]
Mrs. Greasley: Agent Clarke. [Clarke turns around.]
Clarke: Mrs. G.
"She works with him?" Asked shocked Caroline.
Mrs. Greasley: Your asset failed her retrieval mission. I cleaned up her mess.
