Percabeth Poem - Tartarus Twisted

Fate is a cruel thing

"Take my hand!"

"I can't!"

"I SAID, TAKE IT!"

"I. CAN'T."

His sea green tinted gaze drops to her slipping fingers.

"I guess we're both falling today then."

He sucks in a breath and jumps.

Down, down, down.

She lets out a cry of horror,

Unwillingly, yanks herself up onto safe land

Curse Hera, that witch

"I couldn't take it,

because then you would die,

and I would live."

He fell to his death

She fell deeper in love

Fate is a cruel thing
