Krissy

July 17th

Stretching my legs out on the couch, I put my full focus on the TV. Some of Keith's Komplex staff was on this work treat. The complex was closed for the week while we got a paid trip to the beach. Keith had a lot of things planned for us but wouldn't tell us anything which made it spontaneous but in a good way.

Mrs.Farris (Kelly) walks into the living room holding two margaritas in her hand.

"One for me and one for you," she smiles.
"Kelly. It's 10am," I laugh
"It's 5 o'clock somewhere. Keith said be yourself."
"I'm good girl. Thanks though,"
"Two for me then," she laughs.

Pierre and Mr.Williams(Brent) walks in dressed like they were gonna head to the beach.

"Yo. Ya'll joining us?" Pierre asks particularly not removing his eyes from me. I look at Kelly who had already finished the two margaritas. She definitely wasn't saying no.

"Come on! It'll be fun. Let me change. I'll be back. Krissy, come with me." She reaches her hand out.
"We'll ask Lauren and LaToya if they want to join too," she adds pulling me off the couch.

It felt weird to informally hang out with my coworkers. Not that it was a bad thing, it's just I hadn't seen them outside of a professional setting. It was actually kind of funny to see how people truly were.

"Bet. Christian and Marcus coming down too. Keith and Rell already down there. I low-key think they were like five shots in," Brent says.

Five?

"Looks like we need to catch up then. We're coming. Bring the speaker," she reminds them before we walk up the steps.

"Toya! Lauren! We're going down to the beach. Meet us out there!"

Latoya walks out of her room already dressed.

LaToya was our social media coordinator

LaToya was our social media coordinator. She looked good. Her body was goals and she did a great job with what she did.

"Damn Toya," Kelly says.

"What?" she laughs.
"You look good boo!"
"Yes, you do," I smile admiring her physique.

Going into my room, I couldn't help but to think negative thoughts. Everybody was going to look so good. I felt like I would look a mess. I'm already going to stand out because I'm not drinking. I'm trying to force myself to think more positively but I just couldn't. Maybe there was a way I could get out of going to the beach.

About thirty minutes later, the house grew quiet meaning everybody was at the beach. Maybe they forgot I was here.

"Krissy! Come on! We're going to do jet skis soon!" I hear someone yell.

Damn it. Grabbing my green bikini and black sunglasses, I quickly change. Good thing, I wasn't showing yet. Adjusting my jewelry, I slowly walk out of the beach house and towards the beach.
