Epilogue

Few months later

As they had hoped, everything was proceeding according to plan.

Both Sasuke and Sakura continued their partnership as Sakura's company began to expand. In addition to their office in Konoha, Sakura grew fond of the area after their vacation in Suna. Now, they were opening offices not only in the country but all over.

Cha Pharmaceuticals remained at the top, maintaining its position as not only the best pharmaceutical company, but also as a business partner of Uchiha Corp.

He couldn't have been prouder.

But you know what else?

Sakura just graduated from medical school a month ago, and now she's working full time at her residency. She's still involved with Cha Pharmaceuticals, but she temporarily handed over her position to Shizune while she completes the last four years of her residency. Sakura decided to specialize in pediatrics because of her love for children, especially after spending time with Itsumi.

And guess what? They had their wedding on his birthday, just as they had planned.

He never thought they would be able to pull off all the planning in just four months, but somehow they managed it.

Their wedding wasn't the talk of the town, but it was exactly what Sasuke and Sakura wanted. Sakura didn't need a big fairytale wedding to be happy. They picked an outdoor ceremony in a charming 19th-century canal area by the Konoha River. Sasuke looked sharp in his black tuxedo, while Sakura looked stunning in a unique baby pink lace boho gown that flattered her figure. Her hair was styled in a low bun with soft tendrils framing her face, and her makeup enhanced her natural beauty.

Sakura kept her guest list small, only inviting a few close friends. Ino was her maid of honor, while Hinata, Temari, TenTen, and Karin were her bridesmaids. Surprisingly, Karin and her had become friends after Karin started dating Suigetsu. Karin even found a new career as a midwife.

It's incredible how life can change in just a few months.

Luckily, Sakura's parents were no longer a part of her life, thanks to a restraining order and charges. She couldn't be happier about it. She took the initiative to seek therapy and work through the trauma caused by her abusive parents. Sometimes, she wondered why she had such a strong and protective personality, but now she understood that it was a result of her upbringing.

As for Sasuke, Itachi was his best man, along with Shisui, Naruto, Kiba, Suigetsu, and Sai by his side. Izumi helped plan the wedding, and their adorable baby Itsumi was already a few months old. Sasuke couldn't help but dream about starting a family with Sakura someday. He remembered the conversation they had a few months ago, and now he was certain that they would welcome a child of their own in the future.

Sasuke couldn't take his eyes off her as she walked down the aisle - the awe was real. Minato, Naruto's father, did the honors of walking her down, and all he could think was how stunning she looked and that she was soon to be his. It was all starting to sink in.

He couldn't help but chuckle inwardly, recalling how they initially couldn't stand each other. He'd been so different back then, but they ended up finding love in the end.

As Sakura reached the end and Minato let go of her, planting a light kiss on her cheek before taking his seat, Sasuke took her hand and together they ascended the platform. He didn't even realize his eyes had gotten a bit misty.

Sasuke? Crying?

Only Sakura had that effect on him.

Sakura teased him, "If you cry, I'll cry. I don't want to ruin my makeup just yet. At least wait until we say our vows."
