Chapter 22 - This is where you belong

Agam's Pov

"Dada, are we there?" Yug asked while he was playing in the backseat

"Yes bacha" I replied and stopped the car in front of bee's house

She was already waiting for us outside. I got out of the car and opened the door for her

"Hello boys!" She said while settling in the seat. "I want to sit with Saru" Yug said while struggling to get out of his seat

"No bacha you'll get hurt, and stop calling her by her name. She is older than you" I said to him

"Then what should I call Saru?" Yug asked innocently. Sarah and I had an eye contact as I realised that he should call her mom before I could say anything she said to me
"He is too young to force relations on him. I don't want him to call me that just because we are getting married"

She turned around to face Yug and said "Alloo baby you can call me whatever you like" he giggled at her words and said "I like Saru"

I sighed at them and started driving the car.
"What's in the bag?" I asked her
"I got this for you" she said with a big ear-to-ear smile
"For me?" I asked her, shocked by her reply
"Why are you so surprised?" She asked and further added "I saw it while scrolling Instagram and thought you might like it"

She opened the bag and took out a PSG jersey it was the same as what I had earlier. My lips curved and turned into a smile as I saw the jersey. She clearly did not found it while scrolling Instagram, she searched for it as this one is customized.

"Thanks, I like it" I said to her
"Yeah I can tell by the 'very rare smile' on your face" she replied

Soon we reached the play school, yeah we decided to get Yug enrolled in a play school. It was Sarah's idea, though I don't trust anyone with his safety but she said that this one is really nice. Even I checked the school and it is one of the best in the city

"Okay so Lara has already discussed everything about Yug's condition with the counselor so let's just see what they say" she said while we were waiting for the head of the admission department to call us

"Yug's condition? What about him?" I asked, she looked at me in confusion and said "That he was pre-mature and .." I cut her off and said "Yug is as healthy and good as a normal child, I don't think that was necessary"

"I get your point Agam but still the school asks for stuff like this" she said and before I could reply we were called by the counsellor

It's been more than 15 minutes and this lady is in no mood to shut her mouth. For the past 15 minutes, we have been sitting here listening about how this school is the best option for Yug

I turned my face towards the window and saw Yug playing with other children, he seemed happy here

I came out of my thoughts when I felt a tap on my arm "Mr. Malhotra?" The teacher sitting in front of us said

"Yeah I am sorry I couldn't hear you," I said, I could feel Sarah glaring at me

"As I was informed that Yuhaan was a pre-mature baby so does he have any prob-" she said and I cut her off before she could complete

"I believe there's nothing like that. My son is as healthy as a normal 3 year old" I said with a tight-lipped smile

Before she could reply I stood up from my seat and said "My son looks happy here, we would like to enroll him in this school. For other formalities, my PA will contact you. It was nice meeting you"
