Chapter 17 (Part 1) - Icecream date!

Agam's Pov

"Dada wake up" I heard Yug's voice as I turned around and opened my eyes

My overexcited son was already standing on my bed and was jumping around 

"Happy birthday my baby but don't jump like this you'll fall from the bed," I said to him which he absolutely ignored

"Dada thankyou" he took a pause and said "Now get me ready, I have to go" he said moving my shoulder as I drifted in sleep again

I sat up on the bed and looked at the clock, it was six in the morning. SIX IN THE MORNING!!!! Where does he have to go at six in the morning

"Yug bacha I know you are excited but you can't get ready this early, you'll spoil your clothes," I said picking him up and making him sit on my lap

He pouted at my words. "How about we go and check whether your gift is ready or not?"

"My gift?" He said as his eyes shined hearing those words

"Yes baby, chalo chale," I said to him while getting up from the bed
(Let's go)

We walked towards the door and I was about to open it but I had to pause as the door was opening by itself. Maa, papa and Aashna were standing there

"Happy birthday to you" they all started singing together and Yug started clapping as if he was also wishing someone

"Thankyou aap sab ko" he said while hugging Maa and Papa

"Oyee where's my hug?" Aashna said while tapping Yug's head

He gestured for her to bring her ear parallel to his height and when she did he pecked her cheeks and she picked him up and hugged him

This view right in front of me is my whole world, it's been nice since Aashna is back
Maa and Papa never say this but they were actually missing her a lot. The house sure is chaotic but it feels nice to have two kids always running in the house

I came out of my thoughts when Aashna elbowed me and said "It's ready, chalo dekhe"

"What is ready? My gift?" Yug asked while getting excited

"Yes let's go" I said to him while taking him from Aashna

We all walked towards the room that was beside my room

I put Yug down on his feet and told him to open the door. He did that and squealed in excitement after seeing the room

The room was designed and decorated with stuff related to aircraft as Yug is for some reason obsessed with aeroplanes. From the bed to the wallpapers and even the floor mats, all the things were designed and matched according to the theme

Yug has his play room but he sleeps with me only. It was Maa's idea that now he should have his own room and should have a habit of sleeping there. At first, I was a bit hesitant about it but I get it that he needs to start this thing too

We all entered the room and Yug ran towards the big box that was kept on the bed. "Dad, is this for me?" He asked while sitting next to the box

"Yes bacha, open it" I said to him and he got busy unwrapping it

My eyes started wandering around the room and stopped at the big portrait that was hanging on the wall opposite to the bed. It was an edited picture of Savi with Yug, they both were wearing the same outfit that Yug was wearing on Akshit's Haldi

"Kaisa laga?" Aashna asked standing beside me. I didn't say anything or maybe I wasn't able to. She would've been really happy after seeing this

"I got it done yesterday only, it was the perfect final touch to the room"
