Chapter 4

Sarah's pov

"Whose kid is this?" I asked
Akshit and Kavya rushed towards me with an awkward smile, they know how much I hate kids

Akshit tried to take alloo away from me but he moved his head royally ignoring him which made me laugh

And then I saw a lady almost the same age of my mother walking towards us and oh she looked gorgeous in that elegant saree

"It is surprising for me to see him like this, he doesn't like being picked up by anyone"
She said with a soft smile to which I replied smiling shyly

"Yug Come to dadi let's not disturb her" she said gesturing alloo to come towards her to which my silly alloo replied "I am not yug, Me alloo"

Everyone had a questioning look on their face and I mentally face palmed myself realising I gave someone's kid a nickname on a fucking Vegetable *oops*

I was embarrassed and to get out of the awkward situation I suddenly said
"Aunty actually I bought him here because I saw him on the deck all alone and thought that someone might know him here"

She was about to give a reply but was cut off by a firm voice that came from behind

The moment everyone's gaze shifted from me to behind me therefore, I also turned only to get my breath stuck. I think I died for a second after seeing the person standing in front of me. How on earth is this even possible, what kind of hallucination is this, world can't be this small. All kinds of questions started running in my mind and I could sense the same amount of surprise and shock in those eyes that were staring directly into my soul.

I couldn't help but scream "YOU!"
And got the same reply from him at the same time

"Kavu I am thinking of leaving this law shit and going back to India this is too much tiring yaar" I said to Kavya on phone

"Areeee tu aisi baatien mat kar bhai, ho jayega sab theek just wait and trust the process" Kavya replied being the optimistic person as she is.

"Han Han okay meri maa!! Bye now I am in a desperate need for a drink" I said to her sarcastically

"Ok bye and don't drink much" she replied
And I ended the call making my way inside the club.

I am sick of being a law intern it is hell a lot of a work, I am exhausted both mentally and physically only a drink can fix me now

I made my way into the club and went towards the bar. I ordered my usual and was enjoying my 3rd drink when I saw a familiar figure dancing at a distance from me.

"God I know I am currently not your favourite child but why this" I said to myself.

The person who was dancing in front of me was none other than Vikas Mehta aka the biggest Playboy, the biggest cheater and he also happens to be my one and only ex.
