(Y/n)'s Point Of View

After Sukuna had gotten his first an only fact about me correct, he sent me away. I couldn't tell whether he'd sent me away because he was satisfied with finally hurting me or if he'd regretted it just a little bit because he could feel the exact hurt that I felt. I was actually glad that he'd sent me away and not asked me to elaborate on how my mother died- and just exactly why it was my fault. I couldn't grieve for her when she died, but one push and I may grieve for her now.

After leaving the Lord, I picked up my wash cloth and spent another hour finishing up with my cleaning outside the temple untill I was proud of the way the stone pillar sparkled. When I was done I went back to my usual spot outside the scroll room with my inking brush in my hand and my scroll in my lap which was filled with my paintings. I painted random things, anything that gave me inspiration. This time it was of the little fireworks the curse made earlier while being exorsised, completely silent as it died.

It was only an hour after I began painting that I began yawning with tiredness. It was then that I decided that it was time I head to sleep. Admittedly, I hadn't gotten much sleep recently. So I pushed my supplies to the side and and fell asleep against the newly cleaned marble floors. It was what I was used to. Comfortable. I closed my eyes and didn't wake up untill morning to the sound of someone tutting their teeth from above me.

"I always thought it was an accident when you'd fall asleep here- overworked exhaustion and whatnot. But it seems you prefer a floor to an actual bed. Is that because of your time spent as a slave?" The Lord asked me as my eyes flickered open, my hands reaching up to sheild my face from the light that was leaking in ever so harshly. I quickly scrambled to my knees in respect when I saw Sukuna's red angry eyes, bowing my head to him.

"When I ask you a question, I expect an answer." Sukuna said with a raised brow as I yawned, grimacing as my mouth opened wide, using my hand to cover it.
"I do not want to go home, my Lord." I admitted, my morning voice croaky.
"That wasn't an answer to my question." The man told me pointedly, making me pause. Oh, I suppose it wasn't.
"I prefer to sleep in floors due to my time as a slave, yes. Beds feel... odd to me." I told him, confirming his theory.

Sukuna chuckled victoriously, crossing his arms over his chest with pride.
"And why is it you do not want to go home?" Sukuna then asked, going back to my previous statement, "Do you not live on-site like the rest of my workers?"
"No, I do not. I live in the Shimutsui Village, my Lord. My mother never lived on-site either." I told him, making his brows furrow deeply.

"If you have your own home then why do you insist on sleeping on my hallway floors rather than your own?" Sukuna asked, his eyes glaring down at me. I then looked down at my bare wrists.
"Without my cuffs, I am now at risk to hurt many people at my village." I admitted truthfully. It was far safer here in terms of what could get a life-threatening reaction out of me.

"And the people here? Do you not care for them the same way you care for your little village?" Sukuna asked with amusement, making me nod.
"I do. But it's far safer here. There are not only less people that I could effect and less factors that could influence my emotions." I told him softly, "The cursed are kept away by barriers and the sounds of thunder cannot reach my ears. It's safer for everyone that I remain here."

Sukuna squinted his eyes at the girl's reply, taking a few minutes to think, the two of them falling into a deeo silence. The man then snapped his fingers and a gust of red flames appeared from nowhere, Uraume at the middle of it. He warped her here, clear by how confused she looked. I didn't know he could do that.
"Uraume." Sukuna suddenly called out, snapping the white haired lady out fo her trance.
"Assign her a room. I will not begin to look down at my feet while walking through my own halls in order to not trip over sleeping fools." Sukuna muttered with the roll of his eyes, warping away before Uraume could reply,

"Yes, my Lord."
