The group of sorcerers were on their last leg as well. Battling Prime Sukuna had left them missing limbs, burns covering majority of their bodies, running low on cursed energy, and also... dying as well. They knew they couldn't take Sukuna on 'alone' anymore. He was learning... picking them off one by one. It wouldn't be much longer before one was left standing... and what was he - a mere human sorcerer - to do against the King of Curses?... They had one shot in the dark... and they took it.
