We Fall

| Chelsea's POV |

Ang daming nangyayari! Kagagaling lang namin sa selebrasyon last week, pero ngayon linggo na ito ay parang delubyo na ulit. Why and how?

Una sa lahat, pagka-gising ko ngayong Sunday ay nakita kong tumatawag si mommy. We're now talking about my suitors.

[Sean asked me earlier if he can court you. And not a while ago, Vincent has also asked me.] 

Napatingin ako sa orasan, 9 am na pala, late na akong natulog kagabi kaya late na rin nagising. Nakita ko na nagmessage sila Sean at Vincent kaninang 8 am dahil nag-good morning sila. Kaya naman nireplyan ko ang dalawa. 

[Chelsea, are you listening? You have two suitors now.] Sabi ni mommy sa kabilang linya. 

"Yes mom, I'm listening po," sabi ko sabay buntong-hininga. 

[I'm not against of since I already met Vincent and Sean. They're both fine. But anak, they are step brothers. And I heard they're good friends with Yohan. What happened to that guy anyway? I thought he's pursuing you?] 

Halata sa boses ni mommy na hindi siya makapaniwala sa mga pangyayari sa buhay ko. Kung nalilito na siya, edi mas lalo ako. 

"Mom, it's over," maikling sabi ko.

[Make sure you end it well, 'coz it may affect Vincent and Sean.]

"Yes mom don't worry po," sagot ko. 

Napa-isip tuloy ako kung dapat ko bang kausapin si Yohan in person. Pero ayaw ko na siyang makita kasi I feel betrayed. Bakit kasi sinabi niya pa na hindi siya ang Yohan na kachat ko? Tanggap ko naman kung si Freya talaga ang gusto niya eh.

[Also it will be hard for you to entertain two guys at the same time. I don't want you to slack off in school.]

"Mom, I would never," pangako ko. Hinding-hindi ko hahayaang masira pag-aaral ko dahil lang sa love life. "Education is my top priority mom. So don't worry about it."

[That's great. And oh, you should remember our deal. You will only have to date one guy throughout your school life.] 

"Yes mom," I sighed. 

Maybe my mom only wanted me to have an experience because I was curious about relationships. Or maybe, she wanted me to learn about how to work things out in a relationship and keep the guy that I will choose for life.

It's too early to tell that I'm serious about Sean, but I'm sure that I wasn't playing around just to get an experience of this so-called love.

After the phone call, I opened some unread messages.

Vincent: 

Do you want to go to church with me?

Sean: 

Are you free today? Do you want us to go to church? 

Oh gosh. Sino ang rereply'an ko--- I mean sino sasamahan ko? Nauna si Vincent pero I'll feel bad kung itu-turn down ko si Sean. 

Pwede bang tatlo na lang kami? Pero kung tatlo kami na pupunta sa church, mababadtrip sila sa isa't-isa.

"Hayst!" ginulo ko ang hair ko dahil sa stress.

Ngayon ko masasabi na ang hirap nga talaga na mag-entertain ng dalawang manliligaw. Gusto ko lumabas pero at the same time, ayaw ko na lang pala. Imagine, palagi ko silang kasama from Monday to Friday sa school. So paano na ang "me" time ko?
