Making new friends isn't always the easiest thing, especially when you're new to a place altogether. But deciding to be someone's comfort when they need it most is almost infinitely easier. So, that's what Yeonsan chooses to do.
Joo Yeonsan had packed up his entire life and moved alongside his mother, scared to death of commitment. It wasn't anything new. But it was starting to grow old. But when he finds a boy that looks close to his age standing outside his new school, uniform disheveled and eyes far away, he decided that maybe this place was worth it. Because he found someone who needed him, even if they didn't know it yet.
RUMI'S NOTES. i've been reading the True Beauty webtoon for as long as i can remember and when the drama came out, i was very disappointed.
so, this plot in my mind follows the webtoon. and i also recasted the cast. jugyeong is played by kim jisoo, suho is played by chae hyungwon, and seojun is played by lim jaebeom. ofc you can keep the drama's cast, i don't mind that at all!
and you can write it to follow the drama if you'd like, as well. when i came up with this plot, i didn't really have a lot thought up. just that yeonsan is very compassionate. he doesn't speak badly about anyone. he always looks on the bright side of things.
