The low rumble of his bike kept Mauve every night. No matter what the occasion, every midnight, his motorcycle would roar to life and speed across the street and out into the deep of the night. It was almost as if you could hear it, even if he was nowhere near you. Mauve had aimed to live a life of discipline and success first before they dawdled in other fantasies. But that god forsaken motorcycle refused to give them that structure. It was tempting... Enticing. Thrilling. And it fed a desire deep within that had been long buried away. Because let's face it: nightmares are far more interesting than dreams. I've decided to keep a record of them as inspirations for my future stories. I am a lucid dreamer after all. So, why not take advantage of it? Nightmare Journal is a collection of short stories based on my nightmares. Each story is one or two chapters long. The genres are mostly Mystery, Thriller, Horror, Sci-Fi, and Dark Fantasy.
