It was Easter Sunday and of course I had to wake up early before I and Petra's mom come and show us pepper. Mom and my aunts with my grandma were busy in the kitchen, while the uncles, my grandad, my cousins and I were getting ready for church service. I wore a simple ankara dress with black heels. I let my blonde locs down before laying it down with a black scarf. Petra wore an ankara off shoulder top with a short blue denim skirt and white Airforce 1 sneakers.

TYRA'S FIT😍(ok Tyra ateeee!)
I took one of my black tote bag and kept all my necessary stuffs in it before heading down for breakfast of fried potatoes and scrambled eggs.
After break fast we all disappeared into different cars heading to my Grandparent's church.
Once we got there I, Petra, Tina and three of my other cousins left for the teenage church while Aaron and 2 others left for the youth church.
After the service we immediately went home and the Adebiyi (mom's maiden name) women started getting busy in the kitchen and since me and Petra were too lazy to run errands, we decided to sneak away to Thomas'.
We got to a exquisite duplex and tapped on the door bell before waiting in front of his large black gate. He opened the door looking all tired and all dressed in bunny pjs with his locs packed in a bun and I chuckled at his funny appearance.
"Guy it's 1:50 in the afternoon and you've not taken your bath jeez!" Petra said pushing him into the house
"You smell like poop!" Petra said as she1 opened his front door to reveal his gold painted living room.
I was sure everything in that house was not less than $5000. His living room was literally painted gold.
"Tyra..you don't think I smell like poop do you?" He asked turning back to make eye contact with me. "I...I dunno" "Stop hitting on my cousin she has a boyfriend you idiot!" "Really? You do?" He asked "I don't!" "Thank God!" "She does" Petra said "I don't!" "What about Malik you player!" Petra yelled "Who's Malik?" "Malik....is nobody to me" "You see?" Thomas said to Petra "You're disgusting...go and have a bath"
Thomas left with a smirk and Petra turned to me frowning.
"You like him or what?" "What do you mean?" "You denied Malik" "You wouldn't understand but trust me I'm doing the right thing" "Malik looked like he was really sincere...just answer him" "I don't want to Petra, don't force it" "I'm not sure you should give your heart to Thomas...but if that's what you want..I don't care" Petra said in a stern tone "Aren't you moving too fast? I'm not giving my heart to Thomas, this is just my second time meeting him" "Aren't you also moving too fast?"

Thomas came back dressed in a black long sleeve compression shirt and black baggy cargo pants with black Fila shoes and also 2 silver chains hanging from his neck. He packed his hair into a bun leaving some strands to fall down. I think I stared for him for too long because Petra gave me a look.
"So where are we going?" He asked "I dunno what do you have in mind?" Petra asked "The movies?" I asked "Ok" Thomas agreed

MALIK'S POV
I felt so stupid telling her we were just friends. I really wanted us to be more than friends but I couldn't because I already made a promise. Someone knocked on my bedroom door
"Come in" I muttered
And a 19 year old girl came into view looking down at the ground.
"It's time for breakfast, Mr Adeoye and Happy Easter sir" the maid said "Thanks, I'll be down"
I stood up from the bed and went downstairs where, Dad, mom, Bella and Fiona were sitting obviously waiting for me before proceeding to eat. I sat down beside Fiona opposite Bella. And mom said a little prayer before we all wished each other a happy Easter. I grabbed my fork and knife to eat the pancakes in front of me.
"What happened to you?" Bella asked "What do you mean?" "You've been acting strange since two days ago" "Yeah and you look bad" Fiona chipped in "Never mind" I muttered "Malik never looks bad...look at your eye bags jeez" Bella said "I have eyebags?" I asked before standing up to check from the mirror opposite me and I did have eyebags "Mind telling us?"Mom asked "Abi is it that your Tyra?" Bella asked and I glared at her "What do you mean? How do you know about Tyra?" "You always talk about her, you idiot" Bella said while Fiona chuckled "So you're having girl problem?" Fiona asked
"I do not" I replied "Wait that Tyra?" Mom asked "You know the person?" Fiona asked "Yes, I met her at her mother's birthday ceremony a few weeks ago" "Is she fine?" Bella asked "Obviously she's fine, after all his father has good taste in women" Dad said before winking at mom "Daddy we didn't ask you oh" Bella said rolling her eyes "You're getting ruder by the day" Dad said shaking his head "Of course Tyra is very beautiful" Mom replied "So what did you do to her, Malik?" Fiona asked "What do you mean?" I asked "Obviously it had to be you, jerkface" Bella said as she rolled her eyes "Nothing" "Spill, we aren't going to judge" Bella said "We all know you're going to judge, Bella" Fiona said "Its complicated, but I told her we were just friends after kissing"
"You dummy! Then why did you kiss her in the first place" Fiona yelled "I was just teasing her!" "Mr teaser how do you feel now?" Mom asked with a sarcastic smile "She's been ignoring me since" "Well what can I say? You deserved it so" Fiona said shrugging before sipping coffee from her teacup. "Then have a glowup...make her regret it" Dad said "Seriously dad? What kind of advice that?" Fiona asked "I agree...you look like a mess" Mom said "Yeah and your school is resuming in 2 weeks" Bella said "No I disagree, it was his fault isn't it? So he should fix it" Fiona protested "Ughh...Boring.." Mom said as she rolled her eyes "I know right, in our time it was so fun when..." "Dad, don't try to make this about you" Bella said "Interrupt me once more and I'll cut your allowance into half" Dad said sternly
"He SHOULD fix it, it was HIS fault, getting more handsome cannot fix it" Fiona said "No...but it can make her yearn for him" Bella said shrugging "Lola is very stubborn" I said before chewing the fried sausage in front of me "All the girls in your school are always after you,that shouldn't be hard" Bella said "Are you guys even listening?" Fiona said "He is supposed to apologise to her not needing a glowup!" Fiona added "But she's acting all stubborn" Bella muttered "You would if your crush should do the same for you" Fiona said "And you're not even allowed to have crushes" Dad said "Everyone has crushes" Bella said before rolling her eyes "Or maybe she doesn't like you" Fiona said "What no, she does" I said "Did she admit that to you?" Fiona asked "Well no but..." "That's actually a good point! Maybe you aren't her type" "But we kissed.." "Kisses happen... It doesn't usually means someone has feelings for you unless they admit" Mom said
