London will always hold a special place in my heart.
It was where the boys had their first big break, where they traveled after Louis Tomlinson "discovered" them.
We had so many adventures here, made so many memories. The months we spent here in London were incredible. I wouldn't trade any of it for the world.
"Remember when we came here back in December 2012 for the first time?" Calum questioned, simultaneously pulling me from my thoughts and across the street in Trafalgar Square.
I always made sure to visit the National Gallery whenever I was in London, it was probably one of my favorite places in the world. The art was breathtaking.
"We were just kids." I laughed, thinking back like I had been earlier.
He laughed along with me, "We were both what... 16?"
"Crazy."
Calum brought my hand up to his mouth, pressing a soft kiss to the back of my hand. "I was so in love with you at that time, Sul."
I stopped in my tracks, forcing Calum to stop with me. He raised an eyebrow at my sudden stopping.
"Oh yeah? That was like 3 years before you had the balls to ask me out."
He rolled his eyes, dropping my hand and shoving me playfully. "You made me nervous!"
"That is so fucking cute, what the hell?" I giggled, reaching up to hold Calum's face in my hands. "I made you nervous?"
I could see the faint blush on Calum's cheek, barely, but I could. We didn't start dating til we were nearly 19 and this boy had been head over heels for me years. I can't believe it.
Sure, I'd thought he was cute when we were younger, and definitely always thought we'd get married, but the feelings for Calum never processed til I was 18 or so. I had just always known that Calum would be in my life for a long time. I had just never thought of what capacity he'd be in my life.
"Sul, you're the most beautiful girl I've ever met and you paid attention to me. And it wasn't because I was famous. You paid attention to me and wanted to be around me because you knew me. You were my best friend and I was so far gone. I knew it was always going to be you, but I needed you to realize that too."
Now I was blushing.
Calum's arms hooked around my waist, pulling my body flush against his, our lips connecting in the sweetest kiss.
Fuck, I hope this lasts forever this time.
I don't think I'd be able to handle another breakup with Calum. He's my forever, I just know it.
