Only one day after meeting Chris, my phone buzzes a few times. I look down at the screen, softly smile and take a deep breath. He's sending me a text, and that kind of makes me happy. It's a sad story, I feel sorry for what happened to him, but come on, he's great. He's so sweet and kind, and so handsome! Of course I get happy when I see him texting me. I talked to my best friend about the situation, and she told me that it sucks for him. But, she also told me that this is a chance. Chris basically said he's in love with me because of the way I look, which initially sounds very wrong, but she thinks that's good. He's a nice guy, handsome, and single. I'm single too, ready to settle down, but men mostly suck. Now, this man doesn't seem to suck, so she told me to put my heart open and see what happens with him. She's right, I should put my heart open and see that happens with Chris. If we really get along, maybe this can turn into something bigger. Something beautiful.
