While in his office the following morning, he's about to reply to Tall Mary's very early morning text response when the belle presents herself at the cubicle entrance.

Spontaneously, the two share grins upon seeing each other. Koke rarely dons suits for work and today looks like his first time to appear at Bob's in a black one. The attire is kind of baggy on him but he generally looks fine in it.

“I hope you ain't spying on my fashion likes.” The lady says as she walks in without the accountant's green light. The guy only maintains his grin, shaking his head. “Good morning.” Shelyn's husky voice greets.

“Good morning Mary....Oh, well, another Mary. The taller version.” Koke shines his dentition at the lady who now stands in front of him in a pair of deep-blue loose jeans and a short-sleeve dark-grey shirt. She fondly plays with her green file while looking down at the buddy with a smirk attempting to widen into a smile. “Well, sorry if....”

“It's fine. Call me whatever you want. I'm now used to people calling me Mary's sis. Hah. You're just seeing my message now.”

“Yeah....You're late.” Shelyn interrupts again at the same time the lad's eyes look from her to his phone screen.

Tall Mary: Oh wow. An early to bed guy. So, I missed out. Next time you'll invite me.

“So, when is the next time you're preparing something nice?” The feme asks.

He looks up at her again. “Mmmm....Don't lie to me.” Her beaming visage glares at Koke on butting in.

“Probably next week.”

“That's a lie.”

“I'm sincere.”

“Alright. Probably next week. Probably.” Her eyes squeeze whilst she looks at a top corner of the office, as if gauging the event's possibilities. “Perhaps, you don't wanna invite me and that's the reason you're saying probably.”

Koke sighs, his open smile still existent. “I'm hospitable and what you've just said is unlikely. You'll have to remind me since I get busy at times.”

“I'm about to make you busy.” The woman extends her file to the accountant. “See you.” She points two fingers at her eyes before quickly turning them towards the lad. She immediately exits the space to accord him the time to work with her delivery details, leaving him with a smile whilst he gets to the task.

At lunch, he receives a message from Shelyn informing him of the latter's absentia for the rest of the day.

To Tall Mary: It is okay. I'll also leave early today since I have a few things to accomplish.

His smile returns as he texts and sends the message, just like it is every time he does so long as it's with the new colleague. His communication with the twist isn't as frequent as the one he has with either the manager or Marion but that doesn't stop the ardency in the novel friendship. For the next week, it's an assurance that Tall Mary has to appear in his office every day.

If she isn't a replacement for the woman the co-workers call her sister, Koke might need to investigate. The junior accountant hardly forgets the individual who returns him to work after a paranormal leave.

“My sister is around. Perhaps, there's much work to do on her side. Or....She's giving herself a managerial treat now that everything is under her control.” Shelyn grins at the lad after answering his question on Mary's whereabouts.

Koke shrugs, returning her file.

“If you don't mind, you may head up and check on her. Mm?” Her brows raise at him, a gesture he copies as he nods to her idea.
