A/N : Double update today to thank you for being with me. A friend of wattpad told me "as long as there is someone who loves your work, and you are satisfied with our work, you should not doubt yourselves and stop writing."

I don't know if I can be strong like this for long but I can try! You are few, it's true, but you're with me for now and that's what matters. When there's no one left, I'll think about it again. I still have so much to tell in this book! I can't wait for you to read this.

Merci / grazie / Graciasthank you / धन्यवाद / TERIMA KASIH / شكرًا / Salamat ! (I hope I haven't forgotten any language of my readers, if so, tell me and I will ask google translate! =)

Trigger warning in this chapter: attempted suicide. If this kind of subject is too difficult for you, avoid reading the beginning of the chapter.

A warm summer wind loaded with the smell of rain caressed his face. Seokjin was standing on the low wall overlooking the high walls of the school. He was resolute but he couldn't help his shaking legs. His body had not yet understood what his mind had already understood: he no longer wanted to live.

He looked down one last time and was seized with such vertigo that he thought it best to close his eyes so as not to hesitate. That's what he did.  He took a deep breath, then heaved an equally long sigh and repeated several times. Dead silence reigned around him and the only thing audible to his ears was the rustle of his own breathing which he had so much trouble controlling.

Then he knew that if he wanted to do it, he shouldn't hesitate one more second. So, without thinking any longer, he let himself be carried away by his infinite despair, letting his body fall forward for his leap from death.

"Don't do that, boy," a scratchy but sympathetic voice told him suddenly with a surprising calm given the situation.

Seokjin suddenly opened his eyes and saw with horror the ground below while, carried away by his momentum, he was aware of his impending downfall and therefore his impending death. He let out a cry of fright. However, after his imbalance, he managed, with many arm gestures, to regain a semblance of balance and to stay on the low wall. It was unexpected, but he realized that he couldn't have made it on his own : someone had held him back.

"I hold you, don't be afraid."

Without coming down from the low wall on which he was still shaking after what had just happened, Seokjin saw an old man with a gentle look, recognizing him as the middle school janitor.

"M-Mr Choi," Seokjin stammered, as he still rested on the low wall in a precarious balance.

The old man had come on tiptoe so as not to scare him and was now holding him firmly to prevent him from falling. If he had shouted at him to stop from afar, Seokjin would have been so scared that he would have fallen by surprise and would be dead by now.

Seeing his face, the old Choi, usually rather indifferent towards the students of this school, softened. The boy's face was indeed bathed in tears and his eyes were irritated from crying too much. His flushed cheek looked as though it had been punched and his messy hair indicated that it had been pulled. He showed all the marks of a bullied child, such as he had already seen in his years working at this school.

He didn't let go of Seokjin, but without forcing him down fearing he would resist and fall in the process. He was only an old man against the vigor of a youth who nevertheless wanted to take his own life.
