It hits one year of Ambers death after the ghostface attacks. Tara was outside of her garden and looks up at the new flowers blooming once again, the flowers indicated that summer was here. Tara remembered it, these flowers were Ambers favorite. She smiled softly as the memories of her breezed through her hair.. She closed her eyes as the past swept upon her, hearing Ambers sweet and soothing voice in her head.

The new season of summer was just arriving. Amber had spent the whole day with Tara. they skipped happily through Tara's yard, holding hands as they kneeled softly and laid on the grass, looking up at the sky. 'All too well' by Taylor Swift was playing, the twos favorite song. Flower petals falling down gently as the wind blew gently. It was beautiful. Breathtaking.

Amber pointed at the flowers as she whispered in Tara's ear,

"Look at those beautiful flowers.. they're beginning to bloom!" Amber smiled while wrapping her arms around Tara, looking down to her face and kissing her on the nose, "every season these flowers will bloom, and we'll always be here together, watching the flowers calling that summer has arrived. It'll always remind me of you, and it'll remind you of me, okay?"

Tara giggled in Ambers arms, nodding, "They'll always remind me of you. Always," Tara reassured.

~

Ambers words repeated in Tara's head over and over as she closed her eyes, tears flowing freely down her face as she reminisced on her past. The flower petals drifted gently to the grass, just like how it was last season.. It was just as beautiful as last year's. She couldn't help but think about Amber. Everytime she walked passed the beach house they'd visit every Friday night, or see tulips across a flower garden, everything would always go back to her. Amber was right, the flowers really did remind Tara of her.. She couldn't help but look beside her, as if she felt Amber's presence.

"I can't do this without you Amb.." Tara sobbed as she sniffled, her eyes glossy.

Amber gave her a small smile, her hand ghosting through Tara's shoulder, "You can Tara. I'll always be here, waiting for you when you need me most."

Tara cried out as she saw amber fade away from her own eyes. "I don't want you to only be here when I need you the most! I need you amber, I need you here every summer watching the flower petals fall like last year with me.. I love you.."

Amber couldn't help but give her an understanding sad smile, "I know, Tar.. But I'll be here to comfort you, every time you see the flowers, they'll remind you of me, remember? It's okay Tar. It's going to be okay."

Tara looked up at her with vulnerable eyes, like as if you just hurt a lost puppy, "Promise?"

Tara heard a soft chuckle beside her as she felt amber slip away from her grasp, her touch now feeling like a light breeze on her shoulder. "Always love, I promise."

Then as Amber drifted away, the flower petals fell through her lightly. "Till next time Tara."

Tara felt the wind in her hair fly away as amber's ghost breezed with it, she exhaled softly. Small petals fell on her hair. Tara forced a small smile, whispering under her shaky breath as she walked away, "I remember it all too well.."

Till next time Amber.
