KATHRYN'S POV

I pull Madison to Xavier's car. I get in his car and get his keys from the mirror shading thingy.
"Idiot" I mumble under my breath. Who would actually keep their keys here? I see a shadow so I look through my window and see Madison standing there, I give her a questioning look and she looks at me like i'm retarded. Then it hits me.
"I don't know where the mall is do I?" I ask even though I knew the answer.
"Not unless you're a mind reader." She says and opens my door and holds her hand out. I drop the keys in her hand and climb through the car to get into shot gun cause let's face it, i'm way to lazy to go around. She starts the car and drives out.

"Can I call you Maddie?" I ask after a very painfully quiet 30 minutes of driving.
"Sure" She says and looks back at the road.
I am quiet for a few more minutes before I get an idea. I turn the radio on and Shake it off starts playing.

Maddie and I finish out terrible little concert.
"I believe we have just become best friends" she says.
"I believe we have" I say.
Chains and Bad Blood come on before we stop in front of a huge mall. I grab Maddie's wrist and start running and dragging her behind me towards the mall doors.

After hours of shopping and soooo many stores. We can't carry anymore bags so start to leave.
"I'M HUNGRY." I complain.
"Yeah me too, you know what that means?" She ask's.
"Starbucks!" we both scream and get some weird looks from people around us but I honestly don't care and I can tell that Maddie doesn't either.

We get to the holy grounds and get in line to order.
When it's our turn to order there is a really cute guy working the register.
"Hi, welcome to Starbucks what can I get for you today." He says without looking up from the register.
"Could I get 2 pumpkin spice lattes please?" I ask and he looks up and smirks.
"Coming right up." He says and turns around and we go and sit down.
a little while later he comes over to our table and hands us our drinks. I look at mine and notice a phone number.
He winks at me and says. "So? Are you from around here? I think i'd remember a face like yours." He says staring at me the entire time.
"No, were not." Maddie says harshly "Goodbye." and she yanks me out of the store.
"What was that for Maddie?" I ask once we get in the car.
"He was flirting with you Kathryn." she says.
"No he wasn't, he was just being nice." I say. Ok so maybe that was a lie.
"Really? Cause I see a phone number on your cup." She says.
"Ok maybe he was but i'm single and he's cute." I say.
"Oh, Xavier is so not going to like this." She says. Ok, confused mode activated.
"What the hell does Xavier have to do with any of this?" I ask getting a little mad.
"Nothing- just, never mind, forget it." She says visibly relaxing.
We listen to music on the way back to the house.

We get to the house and walk in and are instantly frozen.
The entire room is torn apart. We hear a loud crash upstairs.
