"baby you can't keep crying. you have to do something else besides cry" mylin confirmed her distraught friend
"i can't help it. i miss him" she sobbed
"so call him!" mylin exclaimed getting annoyed with how difficult baby was being. she missed manny, yet she wouldn't call.
"no! he's gonna think he can push me over and he can't" baby explained
"no shade friend but you tell him you hate him all the time" mylin opened up another perspective. she respected her friend and her feelings but she want gonna sugarcoat anything; baby was being hypocritical.
"yeah, but he knows i don't mean it"
"but you know he ain't mean it? you gotta talk to him. you want this shit to work right? y'all can't be arguing all the time. y'all are toxic" mylin admitted
"but i love himmmm" baby dragged out her cry
"okay. so what do you wanna do? like i said, you can't cry all day. you can either fix it or leave this shit right where it's at."
"i know what to do" she said before opening up jetblue on her phone. she briefly checked her bank account before making the decision to book a flight to texas. mylin observed the girl using face id to purchase her ticket.
"friend you crazy" mylin laughed at the girl's impulsivity
"i need to see him. i'm not solving this over the phone when we 1,000 miles apart." she reasoned, "i'm gonna call my friend hold on" she went into her contacts and pressed taniya's number before it started ringing. the phone rang three times before taniya picked up.
"sissy i miss you" she pouted as she face popped up on the screen
"i miss you more. im coming out there" she relayed the news to taniya
"oh my god! when?" she excitedly exclaimed, "manny never mentioned it"
"that's because he doesn't know. we fighting right now"
"oh my god what did he do now"
"i have to tell you in person but to keep it simple he said he hated me. of course, there's context, but that's what i really was hurt over"
taniya thought of ways to defend her brother while validating her friends feelings. she loved baby, she looked at her like she was a sister. "i know that hurts. i would be hurt as hell too. but knowing manny, he was probably just trying to get under your skin. he's a troll" she explained
"yeah i know, but i'm not these other bitches he been with i do everything for manny. it hurts that i love him so hard. so much and that's what he says to me?" she could feel like tears threatening to spill
"hmmm. so what do you wanna do when you come out here?" taniya asked
