As soon as I reached the place Bennett asked me to come, I see him waiting for me, he motions me to come in. I was still confused why he wanted to meet me. I took a seat and the waiter came to take our order, once he left It was pretty awkward so I decided to ask the most dumbest question "so you still play basketball right?" Even though I knew the answer to it I acted like I didn't, he gave me a smile and nodded his head. The waiter gave us our food. As we were eating he took a sip from his milkshake he looked at me and asked me a question I had no answer to

"what happened to us? We used to be so close, we could tell each other anything and everything and we did. You were one of my closest friends and now it's like that never happened. Like I'm nothing to you. I miss how we used to be lele" I finally said to her. I couldn't exactly read her expressions but I could tell she didn't know how to answer my question. She finally spoke and that's when I noticed a mark on her cheek it looked like someone had hit her really hard. "I don't know Bennett" she replied. I wasn't satisfied with her answer.
