Dess rolled her eyes. She locked her phone and turned it upside down on the desk. She was currently sitting in the study room waiting for Noah to come. He had asked for her help reviewing his test that they recently took in their Sports Management class. Surprisingly, their professor was allowing retakes since everyone in the class failed. Even Dess.

She didn't mind helping out a classmate. The only issue was that who she was helping was apart of the bullying that took place a month ago. Dess was over the situation since it was childish to begin with. She made her amends with Noah in class a couple weeks ago. He apologized for not stepping in to correct his friends, and making a unnecessary and undeserved scene. Dess accepted his apology since she didn't hold grudges. She refused to when life was too short for that.

However, Shai held grudges. He held them tightly with both hands. His knuckles turning red from how hard he was holding on. When learning that Dess was going to help Noah, he didn't think that was a good idea. He wanted to attend this study group but Dess stopped him from doing so. She needed him to know that everything was fine and dandy. She was over it.

Dess glanced at her watch for the time. She looked around to see if she saw Noah anywhere. Seconds later, Noah strolled through the double doors looking more exhausted than ever. Football has always tired him out but it was now about to take him out for good. Playoffs was around the corner and he was ready for the sport to be over. He slowly made his way to the table Dess was sitting at.

"Sorry for being late." He apologized, slamming his bag on the table. It made a loud noise, making Dess jump a little.

"Sorry." Noah apologized, plopping in the seat.

"It's okay." She replied, moving his bookbag from in front of her. She pulled out her books, placing them in front of her. All Noah took out was his crumpled text paper. He tried smoothing it out but the paper fell right back in its crumpled position. He was going to leave it.

"So, what did you get on the test?" Dess asked, opening her book to the right lesson.

"A fifteen percent." Noah answered nonchalantly. Dess look up quickly then down at his paper. At the top right in red pen was the number fifteen with a percentage sign beside it.
