"Shit!! I'm so fuckin' late!!!" Deuce panicked, double timing it down the halls like the Flash. Having forgotten to set his alarm clock last night and missing homeroom so early in the morning, he nearly got his ass handed to him as he ran out of Heartslabyul for the main school building. However, in his haste to reach class, he almost didn't notice Evelyn with Grim, hauling him down the hallway as Grim kept griping about something.

"Evelyn?" Deuce slowed down his running speed to catch up with the small asian girl. She looks up at her name being said and waved to Deuce with one hand.

"Hi, Deuce."

"Hey!!" Grim shouted.

"It's nice to see you!" Deuce smiled to her. "I figured you'd walk with me to class if needed." He looked between the two. "Are the two of you late?"

"Me? Never." Evelyn shook her head, only to glare down at Grim. "HIM on the other hand...."

"I said I was sorry!!" Grim shouted, trying to wriggle out of her hold.

"Yeah, maybe I don't wanna know what happened...." Deuce winced, knowing Charlie would blow a gasket recalling whatever it was that involved Grim being late and Evelyn tracking him like a bloodhound. "I kinda overslept too....this isn't good as a future honor student on my end..."

"It's not like you were on to begin with." Grim said bluntly, making Evelyn step on his tail to shut him up.

"Don't listen to him. Not everyone in perfect." She assured. "But why don't I accompany you? You seem like you need someone to talk to." He nods rapidly.

"Please! But...let's make it fast before the warning bell rings?" Evelyn nods and double times it with Deuce, dragging Grim behind them like a rag doll.

The lunch break was here and the dining hall was busy as ever. Deuce was chiding himself for skipping breakfast since his late run in the morning, not noticing Evelyn, Epel, and Ortho and the other FORCE girls waking up to him.

"Hey, Deuce. You need someone to sit with?" Epel offered shyly.

"S-Sure...that's be nice...!" Deuce nods with a small smile as they took their seats. "So...did all of you run into each other?"

"About a few moments ago..." Rebecca answered.

"I was going to resume my talk with Felicity-Nee about a recent manga series we were intrigued by!" Ortho smiled. "And with Epel walking the same way as us, we figured he'd be with us."

"By the way...Evelyn said you were nearly late for class...." Epel smiled cheekily. "What, slept through the alarm like a typical slacker~?"

"H-Hey, I made it in time! Charlie can vouch for me!" Deuce defends.

"Yeah. At least for the first five seconds before Crewel sashayed in..." Charlie shrugs. Only to snort. "But the look he gave both him and Grim...."

"Uh...yeah, never mind I believe you..." Epel winced, not wanting to push further.

"That being said, why DID you oversleep?" Odette asked. "It's not like you..."

"Depending on the walking distance from the Hall of Mirror to the main building, he should've set his alarm for about an hour; hour and a half early with enough time to be ready." Ortho nods.
