The aliens went back to their dying world.

While sitting on top of my direhorse I aim an arrow at Selfridge. He looks up at me helplessly and then looks at the ground in shame.

My eyes trail along the long line of humans. My eyes land on Norm, Max and Trudy.

Only a few were chosen to stay.

Form there I look to my Jake, he's holding another massive gun and you can feel the authority of him just by the way he's standing.

I look at Tsu'tey, who has his mate next to him. She's pointing her bow at the humans. She's a kind soul, her name is Lula. She is sweet but don't ever cross her because she is unforgiving when it comes to family. Lula is also in the position to become a Tsakik, after Mo'at.

The time of great sorrow was ending.

Once all the humans were on board, I slide off my direhorse as the massive ship takes off. I walk over to Jake and he puts his hand in mine.

"It's finally over." I say to him. Although, it's a lie. We both know that the humans will be back.

Eventually.

"Lexi, I've been meaning to tell you this for a long time..." I nod for him to continue. "Just before Grace passed, she told me to tell you that-"

"-She's proud of me and that she loves me?" I finish. He looks confused.

"How did you know?" He ask. Pulling me closer.

"She told me herself, I saw her when I was with Eywa, remember? She talked to me. It was like I was standing right next to her."

I pull him in for a long hug, after a while we have to pull apart because Jake has to get ready. It's his ceremony after all.

It's night now, I sit next to both of Jake's bodies under the Tree of Souls. Mo'at chants and light engulfs the roots under the dirt.

I place a large hand on the side of Jake's human face. After gently taking off his Oxygen mask I press two sweet kisses to the spot under his eyes.

Seeds of the Sacred Tree surround us and float from his human over to his real body, silently telling us it is done.

I gaze at his strong facial features. His sharp jawline, his cheekbones and lastly, his glowing amber eyes that I find staring right back at me.

"Hi." I laugh at his nonchalantness.

"Hey." He slowly sits up and Mo'at calls out that it's done. All the Na'vi cheer and shout as their new leader stands before them.

I never realised that by being Jake's mate automatically meant that I was (after Mo'at) next in line to be the clans Tsakik.

Poor Lula had to wait for both of us to die or retire.

This was the end of the humans, and the beginning of a new era.
