At the end of her hard day,
she turns to Jack instead of Jose.
Her feelings all bottled up inside her.
She drinks them away until
they're nothing but a small reminder.
All dressed up in a pretty little label.
She downs one after the other
as her glass slams on the table.
Jose doesn't make her feel this numb,
he makes her feel a little more confidently strong.
But Jack, ohh Jack.
He makes her speak when she shouldn't.
He makes her forget why she even started it.
He can make her feel effortlessly invisible.
Make her head & heart feel nothing but quizzical.
At the end of a more harder day,
she chooses Jack because he helps her
forget what she longs to say
